abrock42 has officially gone all in. That's a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off for him.

Not saying it's true as its prob not but I have heard the group of phillips, Amadi like to have fun and play with the recruiting game so it is possible they are going for a shock were are TN not LSU bound but unlikey with everyone that is saying things

Yet to be seen.

I've never been high on Ugo. I'll honestly take Walker over Phillips, with no sour grapes.

I really wanted Martin. His potential is high, and there is no other "plug and play" still on the board for us at CB

This is exactly how I feel as well.

Phillips and Martin would both sting. We land a player like Walker and the sting of Phillips isn't really that big a deal. There really are no options as good as Martin though. Oh yeah and Martin there is about zero chance with right now.

Jackson and Amadi? Well I think we probably end up a lot better off by using those spots on other people. Ugo has never impressed me, I think he earned his offer but at the same time if he weren't in state and Phillips wasn't loosely tied to him I don't think we would give a damn. There is similar or better talent available IMO. Jackson was either a DE or LT prospect and in either case I feel like Walker is a much better DE prospect and Allen or St Louis are a much better fit at LT than a project player. Again I doubt we would give a crap if he weren't in state.

Definitely going for all the eCred points with this bet. Hope he's right. But considering he said Richmond was a vol lock a while back.... I'm not gonna get excited.

I don't want to be anyone's apologist here. With that said, I think several insiders said Richmond told the coaches he was a Vol.

Fact: I wrote that over the last few years they had a better program than UT who is going to their first bowl game over the last few years.

Fact: UT has won five games four out of the last seven years and have only won 6 regular season games at best over that time.

Fact: If you think UT has been a better program during that time, then I think you are wrong.

UT has been in a disarray the last seven plus years and have not been a good program. SEC or ACC coaches get fired for wins and losses and UT has not been winning.

Fact: GT has been to a bowl game for the last 17 years straight. Regardless of conference that is impressive and UT has been a clustermess for the last few years.

Your original statement was that UT has a worse football program than Ga Tech.

Now after I proved you WRONG, you have changed it to the last few years!!

I'm not playing this game with you.

UT has a better Football program than Ga Tech, (and it's not even close) regardless of what has happened the last 5 seasons.

UT has been to more bowls, has more wins, and more titles than Tech.

UT plays in the toughest, most difficult and competitive conference in the country while Tech plays in the worst of the five power conferences.

No one in their right mind would even compare the two programs as UT is far superior.

Exactly this.

Martin would be a really good add because he can go into the rotation immediately at CB, which protects for injuries. If it doesn't happen I believe Willie Martinez will handle it just fine. Would be easier with Martin though.

After catching up on all of these threads. It looks like we are trending up with Allen and Walker and down with Phillips, Amadi, and probably Martin too.

I'll take it all day. Allen fills a huge need.

A little tidbit I saw from "Around the NCAA". If true UGA could be on the track to a monumental dumpster fire like the one we just put out.

I mentioned this in another note, but will try and give some insight regarding some of the issues in BM. While I do not like to drop the "insiders" line, and I have done so very little over the years, with CMB now gone, I am not as hesitant to share. The points below are real and our program is at a turning point, with ADGM really the issue, and has been for a while. I know I have been a lukewarm supporter of the athletic department (I guess more of a Disney regarding the football program) and not quick to lay blame at ADGM's feet, but based on information received today, my opinion is changed and I truly think he is a cancer to our long term success in football.

- ADGM has tried to take all power from the football program away from CMR. Obviously not providing needed resources. ADGM is calling the shots by withholding resources and forcing his will on the entire program.
- He did not allow CMR to counter CMB. Fact: If we had countered with CJP money and a 2 year deal, CMB would not have even interviewed with CSU. No counter was a sign of total disrespect, so he took the opportunity to move forward.
- ADGM has an issue with CMR and is trying to force him to leave so he does not come across as the bad guy. Nothing to do with performance, more about the fact CMR apparently is not quite the a$$ kisser many on the board say he is.
- The situation is so bad. it would not be surprising to see CMR walk away after the bowl if ADGM is to be with UGA long run.
- ADGM seems to want Mullen as his HC and if that doesn't work, he will try and get Kirby should CMR step down. CMB was well aware of this and without the respect noted above, had no reason to wait around for a job ADGM was not gonna let him earn.
- If we let Pruett get on the plane and interview with TA&M, he is as good as gone. We need to lock him down before he goes.
- There are rumblings BMAC is even considering overtures from UF. That happens, our recruiting class is in trouble. But this is how bad it has gotten.
- There is tension among the entire staff as they are all upset with the lack of effort in trying to keep CMB (all with ADGM and not CMR) and feel the lack of support will prevent UGA from taking the steps needed to succeed.
- If ADGM survives, we will see a lot of new faces in BM over the next year, as the current staff will not remain in tact with him in a leadership role. CMR and CJP are aligned with their positions so the talk about an issue between them does not appear to be accurate.
Translation Props to GAVol
CMR is Coach Mark Richt
ADGM is AD Greg McGarity
CMB is OC Coach Mike Bobo
CJP is DC Coach Jeremy Pruitt
BM is Butts-Mehre bldg -GA athletic offices
BMAC is RB coach Brian McLendon

Since they are playing in the Orange Bowl and ranked 12th in the nation, I am impressed and could care more for your opinion. JK But, the Tech program is doing just fine. Look up how many bowl seasons they have in a row. I never thought 10 years ago that UT would be worse as a program than GT in football but that is college football these days with roster limits and things. I am so tired of the SEC horn being blown all the time. At some point, I want UT to be at the top of the SEC and could not care if it is considered the best conference or not. I want for UT what Tech has this season. Big bowls and high ranks and wins. It is time we stop pulling for our main SEC competitors to win. It does not help the UT program get wins, high rankings, and big bowls. I want all SEC and ACC teams to lose except the Vols and Jackets. SEC pride is for the team with losing programs. UT pride not SEC pride is how I ride.

First quote on this talking about just this season.

You would seriously take what UT has done with Dooley over GT? Man, if you look over the last few years and say UT has been better then you know nothing about college football. Even this year, tech beat Georgia and if in a bowl tomorrow, Tech would blow UT out. Saw posters on this site saying DO NOT SCHEDULE TECH for the first game next year. UT should be better than Tech but right now they are not.

Second quote talking about the last few years. So gunner, now you are changing what was actually said. Perhaps you were too drunk to actually read what I was saying. It did not say a better program over the last 100 years. You did not prove me wrong. You just proves you are either emotional or can't comprehend what you actually read.

I just quoted what I had written last night. Read it this time and you will see I NEVER refered to anything more than the last decade. After reading your last post, you assumed a lot in what I wrote instead of the actual text. You assume and you know what that makes you. Again, your act shows you must be a FF regular. Go back in your hole and quit lying about what people have written.

Harbaugh is going to be named Michigan coach tomorrow, per ESPN

Yeah, I can't remember who it was maybe John Clayton said he had already been in contact with some NFL coaches about coming to college to coach with him. Said the percentages were practically 100%.

Has anyone besides me already turned most of their attention to the 2016 class? With this class winding down and entering silly season with no more new names to pop up; anyone have a top 5 want list in 2016?

In no order:
1. Warrior
2. Keion Joyner
3. Tavien feaster
4. Ben Bredesen (or flip Cleveland if the UGA dumpster fire happens)
5. Joejuan williams.

Also 2016 seems to be the year of the OLB. Lots of talent at that position.
