If it wasn't for his new song, I wonder how many players on the team would even know who he is? I think his last hit before that was the song he did with Usher back in 2003. Most of the players on the team were 9-10 years old back then.

Question.

What if Florida plays their way into the SEC championship game and then somehow wins a crazy game against Ms state or alabama? Do they get an automatic bid into the playoffs?

There are no automatic bids. Another SEC west team would make it in though.

I find some very small part of me wanting Florida. In that scenario, UF will be forced to keep Muschamp, I think, with clouds of doubt still hanging over his future. Plus they will be embarrassed by whoever comes out of the west. Further, it would mean UGA would have lost to Auburn, putting Richt on the hotseat. Pinkel's seat might also get warm again if Mizzou flops down the stretch.

That could create a scenario where our beloved Vols are the most stable program heading into the year next year, especially considering the train wrecks at Vandy and USCe, and the collapse of UK.

The tides could be turning in our favor...

I agree with so much here BUT please refrain from using the word tide or tides on Vol nation in the same sentence with favor or anything congruent with UT. :hi:

Yeah I think Bama is the best team in the country. Bama beats Mississippi St and wins the SEC. Then the two meet again for the national championship final.

plus 2, I hate that little ffffffffffffffffffing nicky, cant wait to pound little nicky and wanny boys in the ground, I don't have but one good hand but I would give the little finger to beat them by 40, the high would be more than the pain from losing the finger, you don't need all your fingers anyway.:)

I don't think there is a clear cut #1 out there this year. Every team has a significant deficiency that can be exploited. I think there are 6-8 teams who could win it all. of course, only 4 can get into the playoff.

Agree 100%. If MSU beats Bama then I will change my mind.

Miss St. wins SEC, make it in with TCU, Oregon, and FSU. Jaimes gets kicked out of school over the holidays and FSU goes down without its QB to bring in the playoff era just like they did to bring in the BCS era against us without Weinke. TCU wins the playoff IMO. Vols go 8-5, Undefeated No 1 Union City repeats as back to back state champs. UCVOL happy!
