If it isn't T or les miles I say interim this ****, dump currie to rehab the AD image, and try again next year.

We're back to dooley/butch round #3

With all this crap that's going on I wonder what the current coaches are doing/thinking right now. I've totally forgot that we currently have a staff already hahah

Saban replaced Steele at Bama with a different DC, Dabo replaced Steele at Clemson. He has done a good job at Auburn, but he has been there two years and didn't recruit those kids on the DL.

I know he wouldnt do great but i think Miles could at least stabilize the situtaion, and make it a a better looking job down the road...right now that is the best we could hope for. We know we aren't getting a great program saviour level coach now. But we don't have to fn Dooley this again. Miles ain't great, but he sure the hell isn't a Dooley level hire. We just have to accept a stopgap coach for a few years...Miles is perfect for that. Maybe by then Tee would be ready to take over the program. It is a better plan than any other I've heard

Dooley was with saban for a little bit too. And he’s not one of the best. If he were, he’d get HC offers or would be retained by his team. He moves around about every season.

Either go after Tee Martin (get over it, Peyton) and give him a fair shake with the ability to put together a great staff, or give Les Miles a call. At least Les would stabilize things on the football side and recruit fairly well, I'd imagine.

Maybe the reason I was so excited about Mullen was because I knew, deep down in my heart, that if it fell below him, as it was likely to, it would fall fast.

True - but you must really hate him if you want him to work for Currie and Haslam in this garbage heap of a football program.

Honest question, going to sound silly but what team could you adopt? Honest, I know I will never feel the love I do for UT but I could take a break from UT and follow a team like LSU.

Don’t get me wrong. Not give money or even feel the same but simply take a break. Learn about another team and follow them and check back in with UT in a few years.

LSU would be interesting to me.

Les Miles would be the Rick Barnes type of hire.
