Money isn't going to fix this. Like it or not , we really screwed ourselves with that performance Sunday.

People keep saying this and things like we'll never attract a good coach now after Sunday. But it's a moot point because we weren't getting a good before Sunday, we were getting Schiano.

An interim would set us back a year. A desperation hire could set us back 4-5 years and cost millions. If we don't have any strong prospects, we have to take a hard look at cutting our losses. An unimpressive hire isn't going to save this recruiting class, anyway.

At least we know Tennessee football is well and truly dead and that we can adjust our expectations and viewing habits accordingly.

If you want to know what's coming, take a look at Colorado's record over the last decade.

That funny there.

Fellas this is funny stuff in a way. Even some prominent boosters have no clue what Currie is doing, im talking 6figure+ boosters. I cant type what one texted me earlier(i t would get deleted) but he is saying Currie slow played Mullen after being told Mullen was his #1. Earlier, he's told Gundy is coming. He's not happy at the moment.
Fulmer may have been fooled on this one too, don't have the info on that yet.
I get the sense Currie is on a very slippery slope right now.
WoW

I believe they missed on Mullen over money and Haslam pushing Schiano. Everyone has to see the Gundy turndown coming it's his favorite thing about us. Every time we have an opening he gets more money and leverage. I never saw his interest as legit and didn't get my hopes up.

When will they realize we can do no better than Tee? I honestly think this coaching cycle he has the most upside of attainable candidates left. I would rather they give him a shot over a lot if the names that have not turned us down which is growing by the day.

So Tee right?

hire Tee and wrap up this clown show. Its a risk but we are at the bottom anyways and the potential is huge. But i know we wont. Prob gonna have Currie coaching from a stool on the sidelines like Dooley.

Well...I didn't text you, so there is definitely more than one. The whole Mullen debacle was worse to me (or at least as bad) than the Shiano mess. It's all one in the same event...but played out in multiple parts.

As much as people may not like to hear it, Tee, Miles or Kiffin would save this recruiting class.

I am so desperate to just walk away from this and just wait for my ESPN app to send an update.

I'm taking a big step... it won't last, but I'm closing my Firefox Tab on my computer, and my window on Safari.

Yep, I know... see ya tomorrow, and you're right... but i'm trying.
