Come to find out they've received death threats. They now have police escorts wherever they go. I know this is not unique to our fan base but people need to take a step back. They're dumbasses and the cause for some of our reputation.

If Gundy says yes, who's on his staff?

I don't know enough about his staff to speculate right now.

One thing to keep an eye on if he comes is the possibility of Gillespie sticking around, worked on Gundy's staff for two years in Stillwater.

So did he use UF offer as leverage for facility upgrades, didnt get the feedback he wanted and thats why hes considering us?

Depends on if he is a driven person. He has won a couple conference championships but never a national championship. He has most probably peeked at OSU, do to recruiting and conference. At UT he could compete and win a Natty. Not sure he will, but there are very good reasons to try if he's driven.

Not going to judge him when it was almost 20 years ago and he had never even been a coordinator yet. He had always been a position coach. Baylor was the same before he got there and after he left....till Briles got there. Baylor was the dregs.

Since that time he has been DC at Bama, Auburn, LSU, and Clemson. He probably knows more now.

Ulysses is just saying it kinda comes with the job even though it shouldn’t. Gotta be thick skinned to be an AD in the south and just have to realize that these kinda threats are not at all likely to happen. It sucks. That’s for sure.

Very disturbing and it’s a shame it happens. I would not be athletic director because I wouldn’t want that kind of pressure in my life but I would expect that sort of thing to happen from time to time. Doesn’t make it right and doesn’t mean they should have to endure that. It also doesn’t mean that the rest of the fan base can’t be angry with our AD.
