So ... you think that's okay?
Cone on invol, no sane person makes death threats over football, and lunatics are everywhere. They make humanity look bad. Literally any high profile person that does something unpopular is going to get dumb stuff from the fringe lunatics.
It still may happen though. Wisconsin is going to lose to OSU. Bama and Auburn will be in. Bama may jump to 3 though to try to set up a 3rd straight Clemson-Bama championship.

I'm surprised you'd take this stance but you're entitled to your opinion. Wonder WWJD?
My process is less complicated. I simply listen to what people say and if 50 out of 50 commentators are very critical of UT and have nothing positive to say, I make a logical conclusion-- they do not think highly of UT.
I haven't heard one single ESPN or SECN announcer or commentator support UT since Sunday. Not one, across all shows and live events. Now if they're indecisive, my bias would definitely come into play. But they're overwhelmingly against UT on this issue and the disdain is real.
Correction: I believe Barrett Sallee may have shown some support. But I didn't hear that firsthand.
