If Brohm has pulled out a couple of more of those close losses this year....and they were all close....he would probably be Big Ten coach of the year.

Purdue had won 3 Big Ten games the last four year and won 4 this year.

And beat Missouri 35-3. Yes, the Missouri that put in the backups against UT.

Are you kidding me? Purdue has won Big 10 titles and had Heisman candidates. Granted, they've been down lately, and Brohm is a nice looking prospect, but have some grip with reality please.

My grip is fine friend, that 2000 Big Ten Championship is still at my top of the mind awareness....

30-10 at WKU with a 12-2 in 2015 and beat Miami in their bowl game.

I know of his record at wku which is really good. The records are somewhat skewed since most of his losses were to p5 schools and he ran over his conference. I'm just saying he has only had one year at a p5 program. It's a lot different to go from conf USA to the p5 and we only have a sample size of one year at Purdue. That's just me though

Very successful offensive coordinator and head coach at multiple stops. Conference championships. Infallible system. Brian Kelly’s right hand man. Come on dude don’t act like butchs resume before here wasn’t better than 3/4 of our actual targets.

"Very successful offensive coordinator" with all that Ferris State and Wilkes college play calling experience. Please

Brohm.has a never give up, winning attitude...he has fun offenses to watch, he won't be bullied or somebody's ***** either when.hes here, he doesn't take **** from anyone, he's a dog

I think you are making it out to be better than it was. He was at Cincy for crying out loud.

Had losing record every year as OC at CMU. Was it a case of 2012 Vols?

One outright conference title and a couple shared BigEast titles, losing the tie-breakers.

Brian Kelly was a red flag for me.

Ole Miss is going to get probabtion and they are still probably going to spend more money than us, and this for probably the only guy that would take the job.

Ole Miss: Matt Luke’s contract is $12.6 million over 4 years, beginning at $3 million this upcoming year tweets David Brandt of the AP. Salary pool is $5.135 million for the 10 assistants (reportedly 4th nationally behind LSU, Clemson and Alabama per Chase Parham’s tweet).

I'd rather bring Les Miles out of moth balls than hire Tee Martin as HC now. If the guy hadn't won a National Championship as our starting QB people would think it would be a stupid move. I mean at least Jeremy Pruitt and Venables have put years as an elite coordinators at several different Power 5 schools.

Venables should have been the guy before Schiano anyway. But now I think that ship has sailed.

We spoke up yesterday. We made our point. And now we need to live with the outcome. We spooked lots of coaches. Even coordinators that want head jobs in the SEC. there are plenty of open jobs to choose from.

Chad Morris is interested in the job. Top notch offensive mind. Bring in a top notch DC and let's ride. Incredible what he has done at SMU. It's often overlooked when compared to Norvell, Frost, and Strong even though those are easier places to win. Almost beat Frost this year! Recruited and had McBride committed. People keep discounting him because Texas, but those jobs are wrapped up for several years.

#MorristoUT

If true, hire him today

He was in on this search. Per Ainge, Hyams and Hubbs.

He doesn’t need to be consulted again. Ever.

I don't think he was in on the search, at least according to Ainge. He more or less rubber stamped it as did Heath Shuler. Ainge said neither knew of the Penn State stuff in his background. I'm still puzzled that Peyton would even rubber stamp it given his reputation both in college and the pros.
