Time to turn the pitch forks on the Haslams?
Yep. We need a coordinated effort on twitter. It needs to be a unified movement using one hashtag. If we get it to be the top trend on Twitter it could actually cause some movement behind the scenes to force the Haslams to back down

We've got to get out of this hole. UTAD needs to stop digging and start backfilling. Work behind-the-scenes and gauge interest with a few viable candidates, then initiate talks if there's interest. Do it quickly and quietly. If the response is negative, go interim short-term and stabilize the program and UTAD. UT is a hot potato right now. Some guys who might come next year are leery now. And some guys who might come now are going to be opportunistic-- and you really can't blame them or their agents for making crazy demands for their own protection. It's counterproductive to lock ourselves into a bad contract because of bad timing.

We've tripled down on the same mistakes for a decade. Hopefully, someone can be smarter this time.

Fans need to demand better.

It’s the Haslam college of business, not the Haslam college of sport management for a damned reason. They can’t even make the Browns better! If there’s any place where the only movement should be up it’s in Cleveland! And they’re botching that!

Get the Haslams out of the picture. Whatever money they donate just send it back and say no thanks. They are a cancer to this University.

I believe he's at 3.3 now. He'd likely take 5 per year w security in a buyout and number of years knowing that if he wins big UT has the resources to pay him all the way up the ladder

Hmm. Bold move considering jail time is there if someone can prove he did know something. He spent his first 6 years of coaching there directly under Sandusky. Sandusky was likely his reference for future jobs. It happened repeatedly, JoPa knew, the AD knew, sworn testimony says he knew, but he knew nothing???

You know everyone there was warning each other about him, specially when their own kids are meeting Sandusky. Those guys had to have been telling their kids to not go anywhere near that guy. Too many people knew and there were too many that saw too much around that complex for it not to have at least been rumored.

Louisville mod that played football with brohm said he is recruiting in Louisville at the moment and plans to be there through the night. Said things could change but he that brohm doesn't want to be that guy that jumps ship but it's also TN and he has connections here with people

The AD has a huge target on his back. If you were a coach would you want to come here with this uncertainty?

Best thing would be fire his dumbass and hire Fulmer.

Lay low with Interim for a year then allow Fulmer to hire a guy.

This administration is so inept.

If even Peyton is a Haslam lackey, then what can be done? Fans are powerless against the Haslams. We used our one veto.

Fulmer and Blackburn are the guys we need in charge, but they have no backing. Ergen doesn't care, and no one else matches Haslam money. And the university isn't going to bite the hand that feeds, especially on the academic side.

I do have inside info on one. Pruitt’s mom claims he isn’t interested in the UT job. I don’t believe it but it came from a very close source of mine. ;)

Ur just mad you believed in a pipe dream that blew up on your face... i.e. Gruden. The rest of us knew better. Did expect Schiano or the crap storm that came with it? No but again Brohm is where this program is right now.

I apologize about Gruden. Shouldn’t have pushed that so hard. Just thought it was finally our time to make a big hire. I said over and over it didn’t have to be Gruden. There were at least 5 other coaches I would gladly roll with. No way was I accepting of Schiano, and I will sit back and wait if Brohm is hired. Not spending anymore money with another meh or ugh hire.

Once again, I’m sorry to all who I came in and pushed Gruden on. I thought it was really going to happen this time. Just want the best for our program, and I know we are at a point where we need a big hire. It’s very possible we are mediocre for another decade with another ugh hire.

Currie needs to be axed today. This is a dumpster fire...might as well throw gasoline on it and make sure we burn it all down.

Bring in Blackburn like we should have and let him make the hiring decision.

I actually bet JG was excited for Shiano - they have a long relationship.

That is also probably why he sent that tweet out about getting on board or leaving.

Wonder how he feels now?

He tweeted Reunion or something like that. I don't really think it's bad that they know each other.
