That's a good point. I was thinking Jimmy was a mouthpiece for the Haslams with that tweet. But maybe Raja or whoever his source is is part of the resistance. Getting Sigmon's name out there ensures another riot if he's appointed AD at 3:30 today. Otherwise they could have blindsided us with it and people would go "huh, who is this guy?" and then it's too late.

I will number them... sorry if there was confusion.

So just to get things straight, the narrative we’re currently buying is:

1 Currie meeting with Leach was a Hail Mary he tried on his own so he could land someone popular and not get fired.

2 Haslam had him fired for insubordination/as a scapegoat or sacrificial lamb.


3 Haslam family trying to get Sigmon, who was with Currie at KSU, to take over so that they can retain power despite a surface change.

I believe #1. I don't believe 2. 3 is possible.
