I think it's important that even if we somehow make a decent hire, don't let up. Retweet every negative Haslam story out there. Call for Currie's, Davenport's, and DiPietro's jobs. Demand Tennessee people in positions of power; Fulmer, Blackburn, etc. Voice your displeasure when the University calls. Write your state reps. Do what it takes to keep the pressure on for change.

We can support the team and push for change.

(Of course, Doeren and I'm out, but I will still fight.)

Currie and the Haslams are going to need extra security, once this hire is made. The loonies will be out.

Of course he is not staying. It is so obvious he is going to accept.

My two least favorite hires this search would have been Greg Schiano and Doreon. we are going to freaking hire them both. Like what in the world. who would of thought we would hire the two worst coaches possible for Tennessee.

I don't think you're going to have politicians, UT staff, former players, and player parents protesting this one.

Schiano was a special case regardless of how some want to paint it.

I remember Knuckle saying a few nights back that he learned something about Haslam that made him sick, made him want to vomit. Now Skeeters posts- I don't doubt he is doing something with UT in a financial arrangement- that's why he keeps putting in the people he wants so they stay quiet. But is there more??

I am thinking of Arkansas going after Gus, Texas AM going after Jimbo and possibly the richest school in the SEC is getting Doreen.

fan base the media is portraying us as.

I truly think there is and I think we find out soon.... we need to get some of the local media guys to do some digging

It was. I saw some people I know on facebook screaming for Schiano not to be hired, and they probably couldn't name 5 players on the team.

It was not a football protest for a great many people.

So be it. I'm tired of being mediocre. I'm tired of being run over by inadequate leadership within the UT system. If I need to look like I'm a spoiled fan, then fine. Guess what? I am spoiled because this is UT football! We shouldn't have to accept hires like we've gotten in the past. We have become the laughing stock of the college football scene and it's time we quit taking this and start doing something. I love UT football, but I am appalled at what it has become.
