If you asked random people who have no stake in UT but know who JG is and what it would mean for him to leave a job where he works a few days a week for a few hours and gets paid millions of dollars, I think they'd say 0% chance.

I would say that as well but for me talking to people who have worked with him.

I trust Catbone.

If anything he would say Gruden accepted the UT deal, but on the way his plane got hijacked and now he is coaching the Damascus Durka Durkas at gunpoint.

Just clarifying exactly what Catbone said.

Imo there is a huge difference between him being in Knoxville and at the facility.

Of course, I would be totally fired up if we get Gruden, but I also think there is a lot of truth to what Gary Patterson said in reference to us passing him over for Kiffin. "I think a lot of these AD's are more interested in hiring guys who're going to win the podium than they are in hiring football coaches, and there's a lot more to it than that if you're going to win championships."

But hey, I've never bought a $4m house, so maybe you have to close on it once per million.

Perhaps he was here to close on the house the 1st time and the next 3 times he was here using the house for you know house purposes????
