Why the hell is everyone on the Hill bending over backwards to kiss Jones' ass? I just don't understand it.

I'm not asking anyone to speak ill of the dead, but why the concerted effort to praise him so much?

Because when things hit the fan during a divorce no one looks good. Right now, we look good and Jones looks like a coach who got fired because he couldn't cut it. Best to keep it that way.

Of course. I also pointed that out. But he's not going to call recruits that aren't trusted/from trusted families who might leak the fact that he's the next UT head coach.

I should have asked different. If he turns out to be our head coach can you be contacting players discussing recruiting before hired?

He would not outwork Gruden. That is one thing I've never doubted about JG.
