Just gonna throw this out there, Ole Miss is my sleeper in the West. They have 16 starters returning, with the majority on defense. Last year the defense held their opponents in the SEC to less than 17 a game, and the defense could be even better this year. If the new QB is decent, then they will surprise some people. I just haven't heard any talk about them, thoughts?
I go the opposite and think they are going to finish last in a loaded West.
This thought probably has no merit to it, but just going to throw it out there. We were told yesterday that no injuries would be told to the media, unless Butch talked about them first. Why would a few hours later there be a media report that Gaulden broke his foot, citing a source within the program??? I am sure that it's probably true, since Hubbs commented about it, but it just makes you scratch your head a little bit. I was just thinking and wondering if maybe they had figured out the mole in the program (Bob Mueller), and gave him this info to confirm it. Or maybe he does have a foot injury, but it is minor. Just some thoughts I know everyone loves a conspiracy theory.
Check their schedule. I think they start out the gate 7-1 with A&M at home. Then, it gets tougher, but I still think they finish beating Arkansas and Miss St. At worst 9-3 imo unless they go through big injuries again.
