Seriously seems like there have been at least 30 injuries causing CFB and NFL players to miss all or some of the season during fall camp this year. I don't remember there being this many in recent years, but maybe I just wasn't paying as close attention.

Would be interesting to see if this is an upward trend and what to attribute it to.

Why do you think that is? Also, do you think some news organization will claim football should be outlawed or some crap? Seriously, without football I don't know what I'd do :thud:

I could see some liberal bureaucrat trying to seize it as an opportunity to exert control somehow.

No clue. Might just be an outlier of a preseason. Not sure if it's indicative of any trends, except perhaps more players getting hit at the legs/knees because of targeting rules.

Has there statistically been more knee injuries with the helmet to helmet rule and targeting? I think we've seen more ACL injuries the last few years by trying t limit concussions. Of course I could be wrong.

Needs to be a push to reinforce all CFB players' ACLs with titanium the day they arrive on campus, IMO.

I'm beyond ready for fall camp to end. Let's just get to the season healthy. Players are dropping likes flies around the country. I know that easing up on practices probably isn't the best thing to do for improving young players, but it would make me a hell of a lot less nervous.

Easing up in practice and camp would probably just lead to more injuries during games.

Did everyone see the clip of where Kelvin Benjamin got hurt at Panthers camp yesterday? Non contact just looked to step the wrong way and tore his ACL.

OUTLAW STEPPING THE WRONG WAY! Do it quickly before we all die!

Wolverine would solve our MLB issue

Jennings to Z: "Coach you're not coaching me hard enough"

The first time I heard JJs interview at UT I was very impressed. Any young man (or woman) with that attitude is out to leave a mark on this world. Money can't buy that attitude.

Wolverine is renowned for the fact that he is only 5'3". It's part of the reason why is is even called Wolverine, because he is so short.

The first time I heard JJs interview at UT I was very impressed. After hearing this tho, I want to adopt an 18-22 yr old college aged girl and get those two youngins hitched. Not because I see him as a future NFL star/dollar machine but because any young man (or woman) with that attitude is out to leave a mark on this world and will very likely treat your baby right. Money can't buy that attitude.

That's strange, professor.
