Malone not even in the two-deep? The light has to come on for him eventually.

Wait, Croom isn't in the two-deep either? Is Jennings really outdoing both of those guys?

Malone will play. Croom is still a bit hobbled. I think they will ease him back into the rotation.

All of the 8-9 main WRs will see the field quite a bit.

I think you are in for a frustrating season. With this O line there is no team we play in the SEC beside Vandy or Kentucky that you can say have "no business in contention to win"

Vandy and UTC murdered this same O Line with a 3 man rush all game. Yes the O Line has had another year to mature and develop but so has every other D in the SEC.

The only fix is to keep recruiting highly talented O lineman and at this point only have 1 committed for 2016. Very concerning IMO.

Our Oline will be better by magnitudes this year. And that doesn't even mean they will be average. I'd make a $100 PayPal bet with you that our Oline is much much much better than last year. Just know that I'm playing with house money though as our Oline was quite possibly one of the worst in CFB D1 history. A year makes a bigger difference at the Oline than probably any other position group.

RTI put out their projected two-deep based on their observations of camp (they've been at every portion of camp that's been open to media). Nothing earth shattering, but some fodder for discussion:

QB: 1. Joshua Dobbs 2. Quinten Dormady
RB: 1. Jalen Hurd 2. Alvin Kamara
WR: 1. Pig Howard 2. Josh Smith
WR: 1. Marquez North 2. Jauan Jennings
Slot WR: 1. Von Pearson 2. Johnathon Johnson
TE: 1. Ethan Wolf 2. Alex Ellis
LT: 1. Kyler Kerbyson 2. Chance Hall
LG: 1. Jashon Robertson 2. Venzell Boulware
C: 1. Mack Crowder 2. Dylan Wiesman
RG: 1. Jack Jones 2. Brett Kendrick
RT: 1. Coleman Thomas 2. Drew Richmond

DE: 1. Derek Barnett 2. Kyle Phillips
DT: 1. Owen Williams 2. Kahlil McKenzie
DT: 1. Danny O’Brien 2. Kendal Vickers/Shy Tuttle
DE: 1. Curt Maggitt 2. Corey Vereen
ILB: 1. Kenny Bynum 2. Darrin Kirkland Jr.
OLB: 1. Jalen Reeves-Maybin 2. Cortez McDowell
CB: 1. Cam Sutton 2. Malik Foreman
CB: 1. Emmanuel Moseley 2. Justin Martin
NB: 1. Rashaan Gaulden 2. Micah Abernathy
S: 1. Brian Randolph 2. Evan Berry
S: 1. LaDarrell McNeil 2. Todd Kelly Jr.

Thats strange. Kendrick looked to be the front runner for the LG spot. Of course it's just a mock depth chart, but still strange.

Rumor within the last hour suggests Preston Williams didn't make the score. 247 board claims family is indicating he failed to pass. Also makeadudi reporting the same thing.

Guess we will see soon enough!

I don't know that poster kinda seems like a clown.

You don't know how good the OL will be in relation to the other teams we play. Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Oklahoma...they will all basically have new offensive lines.
On the DL side Missouri will have an entirely new DL and lost two of the guys that were supposed to be new starters already,. Arkansas has a new DL, as does UGA and Oklahoma. Florida lost Fowler who did 90% of the damage in thay game. Those schools all may take a step back at that position.

What would be the help if they signed 20 OL for 2016? They will still be FR and probably not ready to play. We may have the best OL class on the country for 2015, but it doesn't help very much this year. They need time to get older and get ready.

I disagree with the bolded statement. I think it will be a close game that either team can win.

They just don't have the defense or passing game to be in true contention in the 4th quarter. 1st half will be close and 3rd quarter will see the wheels start falling off for Ark as they have trouble both stopping our O and with trying to play catchup.

with worley playing?

with dobbs playing avg about 37ppg and 210 rushing yards per game. only about a dozen sacks. If you wanna throw stuff out there atleast bring facts. When dobbs was out there the holes were alot bigger for Hurd. Also had most of his wr unit banged up. Lets judge them off this yr. Granted Worley played better defenses but you didnt mention them. I think we will have a true reading this yr when Dobbs is the main guy.

Again, with respect to you and MV. I was referencing the statement or thought that with this O Line thinking teams such as Arkansas have no business even being in the game with us.

Looks about right except switch Bynum out for Kirkland, Jr.then Bynum as backup and then switch out Jennings for Malone behind North. Can't believe that I forgot about Cortez McDowell. Haven't heard a word about him in the off season.

I just hope Malone has a lot more intensity this year. I remember the coaches saying last year that he had a problem with not giving full effort.

Why hasn't KMac had his stripe removed?

Position players decide who have their stripes removed not the staff. I think all that have lost their stripes to this point are early enrollees. Teammates still rave about KMac's abilities which is the highest praise you can get as a true freshman. The kid will be a monster this year.

I also think a lot of people are sleeping on Tuttle. He may actually have a bigger year statistically than McKenzie because I think McKenzie will see consistent double teams almost every play. I believe both freshman are bigger than the starting DTs we had last year.

Lol. Jennings in front of Malone? I get it that Jennings is a stud and very athletic...but that's just insane. Malone is definitely in the 2 deep. And everything I have heard regarding Malone from practice is that he has gotten better and has more fire and passion. That is what he needed last year. This year he has the chance to do something special even with how good all of our WR's are.

Since you like to make bets, I'll do an avatar bet with you. I bet that the score in the 4th quarter of that game will be close. The loser of the bet has to make Mark Sanchez their avatar for 1 month. Do you accept?

Need some help folks. If you could only go to 1 UT game this year, home or away, which one would you go to?

All of them. :)

But if I had to choose, it would be OU. The team and the fans are ready for revenge from last year's Oklaholding fiasco. Plus the score was deceiving.

Serious? Your asking the question why recruit quality depth at O line so we aren't having this conversation still in 2018?

Jennings is going to be good but I believe Malone will be one of our top 3 receivers by the end of the year. I think he will have the highest YPC average on the team and will be our best deep ball threat.

They aren't going to sign just one guy and no one is saying that would one would be ideal. We will only be losing two guys that are going to play this year and in 2017 there will only be two seniors in Blair and Wiesman and whomever they sign this year probably won't be a starter next year because we will be moving past this having to play a freshman thing. Just signing a ton of guys on the OL isn't going to help going forward because the OL is finally building depth and FR aren't going to be counted on to start immediately.

Last year, Jordan Williams, Owen Williams, O'Brien, and Mixon were all listed in the 280s. Saulsberry was listed at 296, but he was very limited. Sawyers was listed at 306.

The only DT significantly below 300 this year is Picou at 266 (according to the utsports.com roster). Owen and O'Brien are hovering right around 300 this year.

The DTs are bigger across the board. They are gonna wear some interior linemen out.

Shocked about Jennings over Malone.

I highlighted my only concern areas on the entire roster. If each of these can just be solid then we'll win 9 games
