As for holding guys out, Jones has done this every year he's been here. How is this new to anyone? He's held guys out of practice for no more reason than "rest." He's always said they manage the physical workload of every individual on the team. He's even canceled practices in past years to manage that workload.

This should be old hat.

VQ confirmed that he had an MRI this morning

Further, the MRI this morning did not reveal any tears and that "rest and rehab, maybe a couple weeks" and then North could return unless he did not heal well during that time in which another MRI would be required.

If our W/L went down three spots because of one injury from a non-QB, then it was never that high to begin with.

North is good, and I hope like crazy that he is able to show it this season, but he isn't worth three wins. These injuries happen every year to every team. That's why Jones keeps barking about quality and experienced depth.

This team is still young, but with the right ball bounces and borderline calls going their way, they have the talent to make noise.

The funny thing is I have a vintage Vols t-shirt with that has the exactly same retro logo on it as my avatar. I know I won't be caught wearing that shirt anytime soon when I'm in the tri-cities.
