The good news is we have Drew pushing Thomas, Hall pushing Kerbyson, and Jones pushing whomever becomes RG. Not bad for later.

Was looking at schedules from different teams in the SEC....and saw that Arkansas has a 3 game stretch where they have to play TAMU, Vols, and Bama.....and they're all away games....that's killer.

Worton was 3rd string slot. Sounds like he's fine.

No word on Dorsey. He was the backup at both OG positions. Played well this spring in place of Trip Thurman.

Please do not take this the wrong way because I am not trying to be a smart azz but does someone beep you anytime someone asks a question about Florida? It seems anytime Florida is mentioned the very next comment is from you3 Just don't see how that happens. One other observation has anyone on your team that is injured or is leaving ever a 1st team player?

No. They are all walkons with barely a chance to see the field.

For you guys that are worried about tight ends after Branisel's departure. I expect some good things frome Neiko this year

Wolf is the NFL caliber tight end. Creamer will get better but I expect good things from Wolf this season.

Wolf is a beast no doubt. I think Creamer and Ellis will definitely contribute and be solid. Creamer is a monster of an athlete and had already leapfrogged Branisel for #3 TE. Not sure why the folks on the FF are freaking out about his departure

We do need to sign two this year for sure though.

Or a screen that doesn't give the receiver a chance to do anything

I think Debord will attack downfield much more than Bajakian ever did and hopefully he tries to exploit the middle of the field more too. That was probably my biggest problem with Bajakian's playcalling.

That's been one of my biggest issues. The design of our screen passes are ****ing terrible. You would think that if you were going to base 60% of your offense around that play, you would at least draw it up to succeed...you would think.

If Debord can figure out what a slant route is, I'll be good. Goals for a better offense: slant routes, better screen design, utilize the TE. Doesn't seem that difficult.

I agree. Depth at TE looks good. I think there is some validity in asking why we've had the volume of turnover we have. I think most was warranted but you hate to lose possible contributors you spent time recruiting. Someone posted in Branisel's thread that I believe knows players (Ellis maybe) that Butch was pretty demeaning to the non-stars. Do I think it is aggregious, nah. With the departures we have had though I think it has some truth.

Marlon Walls said that isn't true. Said Butch treats every player exactly the same no matter their status on the team and that's why he likes him so much.

I mean, I'm sure there is a small difference in the way Butch talks to Dobbs and the way he talks to a walk on, but overall I don't think he plays blatant favorites.

I've just seen too many whispers this isn't always true. Is he a hardass to everyone, likely. Is that ok, sure but not all of these departures were wanted.

I'm okay with departures if it means we field a tough and disciplined team. Top 10 in fewest penalties and special teams efficiency. That's all Butch.

I definately happy where we are headed and generally accept turnover. I would like to see it slow a bit.

Most of the departures were guys that either screwed up or saw someone ahead of them on the depth chart. I'm not going to demonize Butch for being a hard ass when the guys are leaving for the reasons they did. When I start seeing a bunch of guys bad mouthing Butch going out the door, then maybe I'll start to be concerned.

Butch plays hard and drives you hard and some of the kids that he recruited don't seem to understand that or didn't until they were already here. It's not really something you can understand until you are in his practices getting "motivated" by him.

Helm leaving because of language was the dumbest thing I've ever heard, seeing how he went to a coach that uses language. If they're leaving due to tough love, they need to sac up. Imagine what's gonna happen when the world actually starts being tough on them

Haha exactly. You haven't heard foul language until you hear David Cutcliffe get worked up in practice.

This is big time SEC football. Some kids have the talent for it and some just don't. Some have the mentality to deal with the everyday grind of it and others don't.
