Someone on VQ mentioned that he saw Pearson and Malik Foreman cliff jumping near Knoxville on Saturday. The guy talked to Pearson and found out that Pearson received some big news regarding his case on Friday that will clear his name and that the entire team is aware of it as well.

To add to this, Pearson posted a cryptic tweet on July 24 (Friday) that just said "Colossal". Maybe referring to the news? Not much of an official update, but time is running out and I think that if his name gets cleared, it will happen in the next 7 days.

Yeah, I'm out of the loop on pop music nowadays. Too old, I guess. Still, hopefully that guy's story is worth believing. I think we'll know pretty well one way or the other with VP this week.

Boom! Will that be back to back very large classes that we got all signees qualified? If so, kudos to everyone involved in the program that helps these guys know exactly what they need to do to qualify. And kudos to the young men for doing it.

6 Backups who will Shine in 2015

Shy Tuttle, Tennessee, DT, Freshman — We didn’t list five-star freshman Kahlil McKenzie here because he’s probably going to start, so Tuttle in a rotational role up front for the Vols will be vital to Tennessee’s defensive success this season. Curt Maggitt and Derek Barnett coming off the edges and the freshmen 1-2 punch of McKenzie + Tuttle up the middle? Opposing offenses aren’t going to want to deal with that freak show. Veteran defensive back Cam Sutton spoke highly of both newcomers at SEC Media Days and said he expects Tennessee’s pass rush to be amongst the nation’s best. We’d have to agree based on the personnel.

Gators should be THRILLED with this pick up. High character kid, flying below the radar, but poised for a breakout. I'm nervous. Coach Jim clearly has them in a good place and they are going to be a handful SOON.
