Joey Kent said on the radio in Nashville today that Nathan Peterman is dominant in practice.

It's not translating to live game.

The Dobbs question about him starting this game. I really believe this was a last ditch effort to keep the redshirt intact. If the light comes on for Peterman, he stays in the game.

We witnessed the opposite.

Y'all need to look back at this teams progress. We are on track. I really like our chances in the remaining games.

You guys need to start a second guessers club. Password is 20-20.

Peterman didn't let Cooper loose in the secondary. It was an uncharacteristic quarter for the defense.

They were giving Peterman one last shot to do something and maybe keep the redshirt on Dobbs. They might not have even known Dobbs would be able to sustain those drives against that defense.

Wait... what?? How do you win with such a bad OC?? I thought he sucked? Does his play calling get better with Dobbs? Or maybe... just maybe.. nah never mind.. this is VN.. he sucks.

Bingo!!

This is Volnation where when you hire a coach and he starts showing tangible signs of progress, you turn on him, run him out of town on a rail, and then restart another 3-4 year rebuild so you can keep complaining.

If we play exactly like we did the last three quarters, we can win out.

We outscored Bama 20-14 after the first quarter...we have found the offensive formula we needed all year and Dobbs proved his skill and leadership of the offense...has not taken a snap in a game all year and he looked awesome against one of the best defenses in the country!

We went with a lot of gap rubs and used Ellis as a lead blocking fullback tonight.had some success with it.

Dobbs can not be getting 18 carries on a regular basis though. He's gonna get himself hurt.

Hey guys. Not staying long, but man, it was good to see how a mobile QB changed the game. Option plays are a little more difficult for the defense when one option isn't taken off the table from the start.

I'm still not sold on Bajakian. Say what you want, Vol2002 :p

To be honest I'm not 100% sure I am either. But I'm very big believer that when coaches are working with a roster with as many problems as ours still has, you gotta give them time before judging. I think people on here are getting a bit ridiculous. I endured the Dooley years on this board but if that level of consistent negativity begins festering here again before CBJ had finished two years I'm going to have to quit this board for a while. It's completely irrational.
