According to 247, Vandy is at 13 commits, which currently puts them at 49th in the nation.

If you take away Mike Sawyers and Emmanuel Smith from the commit list, which is very possible, they would fall to the mid to high 60's.

Take away Gibson, Sherfield, and Amani and they fall to 82nd in the nation.

It only takes 1 bad class to set a team back several years, (shouldn't we all know).

Whoever takes over, has their work cut out for them. UT had 14 EEs.... Vandy had 1

They gone

Shows the result of building a reputation vs building a program.

Funny.

What are peoples thoughts on AJ Johnson staying? Can you believe he's already had 324 tackles for us?

We're only two hours in and already have four new five-stars in the #Rivals100 Any guesses recruiting fans?

when is this released?

I have a feeling many negative opinions on AJJ would change if he had other really good LB's beside him, DB's behind him and DL in front of him. Hopefully that is the case in '14.

The Vandy 247 site considers them to have three solid commits. They don't even have anyone to try to fill the spots now vacant
What is it, 22 days till signing day?

I thinks it's 24, but by the time they get someone in, there will likely be only two weekends left to try to get recruits on campus, and that will probably have to be done shorthanded with some assistants from what's left of the previous regime, who probably won't have a job after NSD. Not exactly ideal recruiting circumstances. I cannot see this class avoiding disaster for Vandy.

Two years under the same coordinator can only help his development.

AJJ has deficiencies as a player that have been well documented on this site. But he is still a very, very good player. More than that, he's a veteran, a consistent high-effort guy, a team leader and he seems to be one of only a few Dooley-era players that wants to do whatever it takes to win.

Whatever deficiencies he has on the field (and I don't think there are many) are more than made up for by his intangibles.

In short, I'm very glad he came back!

Will be looking at switching to Dish if Direct TV and Comcast don't get on board.

I switched to Dish from Comcast. One of the best decisions I've ever made, just wish I could get rid of my Comcast internet too. My internet bill is more expensive than my tv bill, ridiculous!
