I think Rich's untimely passing has caused all of us to give pause to our conduct at times on VN and to realize there is a real person behind every AVI.

That's definitely true. It's so easy to forget the fact that every username is an actual person with a full life outside of Volnation. I know from now on I'll be making a conscious effort to consider that when I post.

You must be a Bluffton area guy. You moved up even higher in my favorite poster rankings, bro. The wife and I spend 4-6 weeks at HHI every year having a good time and getting our fill of the best food that area of the low country has to offer. Can taste the Frogmore Stew and shrimp 'n' grits already. Will be there for a week starting next Friday. Then back again in April, June and October/November.

EDIT: Merry Christmas to all and may each one of you be blessed this coming year. Thank our Lord for the blessing of that child born in Bethlehem some 2000 years ago. Lift up a special prayer for Rubin's family and friends today. VN - you make me proud to be a VFL.

Yes, I live in Bluffton (Rose Hill). Try Sigler's in Bluffton - it is in an industrial park but a super seafood place. Take a boat over or drive down 46 to Inn at Palmetto Bluff. It is fantastic setting and rated 5* resort and restaurant.

Give me a shout out when you are down next Spring. I'm heading out next week as well.
