The defense in general was really good. We had one busted play and 2 long drives, but besides that we shut them down. Shaw rarely had anyone open downfield and the DL was beast mode.

To see where they are now compared to last year on defense is incredible.

Yeah the long pass to Byrd and the third quarter. Otherwise I was seriously looking at that defense thinking "Is this really the same unit (plus two true freshmen) that we has last year?"

God, this feels good. Honestly forgot how much.

You guys can thank me, when I put my daughter down we started doing terribly. After I realized what I had done, I made an in-game adjustment and put her back in my lap.

She watched the rest of the game with me in my lap.

You're welcome, VolNation. :)

My son was born 11 days ago. He watched from my lap. He'll do so again!

I dreamed we would win this game and that we'd move on to Bama. You know what, I think we match up against Bama even better than we do SC. Get ready, Bama. Butch is about to slap your ass!

We kicked the FG on 2nd down after spiking it. Those two timeouts would have done nothing for Spurrier. Wed have simply knelt it 3 times instead of spiking it once.

@Vol_Football: JONES: I thought our kids had a relentless approach. I hope you saw kids believing in each other. They had their heads up. It was powerful

I love that so many former players were there for this. Getting to relive the pregame stuff and see that win must have been really special for them.

Amazing that anybody would still be downing Worley. Just stop. He's had 7 starts in a new offense after being totally flat lined for two years with Dools. Especially after busting his throwing hand's thumb in the second quarter; completing more passes than Connor Shaw including the long one to North that was right on the money; running to pick up first downs; as well as avoiding an incredible pass rush from Clowney and group because Tiny in particular got schooled most of the game. Anybody that goes there is a frickin' idiot.

Cannot say enough about the defense, the DC/staff, Palardy, Worley, Pig, North, Neal/Lane, Stone/Bullard/James, and special teams. Thanks, guys. Happy for each and every one of you.

Coach Jake, Tiny, Downs - y'all need to get to work and figure some things out. Safeties/LB's - get to work on setting the edge with the DE's. They did their jobs.

Full Butch. Man knows his shat. Go shock the CFB world next week.

I thought it was pass interference too. The db was holding North's other hand. North bailed sorry ass Worley out twice. I'm so sick of watching him throw bounce passes. His td pass to pig was low too. I'm still trying to figure out how Worley doesnt hit J Carter for an easy td. Instead he throws the damn ball out of bounds. Worley didnt do anything of note to help us win except for the two runs he had. The defense, North, and of course Palardy won this game.

With that said, It's freaking great to be a Tennessee Vol!!

I think I pulled a hammy running through the house after North's catch lol. Plus a throbbing headache from screaming at the tv like I was at the game haha.

Those announcers were pissing me off all game praising clowney and usce. Hardly ever gave us, especially our D, any credit for making Shaw struggle. I hate Shaw got hurt. Honestly, I wish it was clowney the way he was acting like an ass taunting our fans. F him and all the cocks. Haha I love it!

Best part was Spurrier trying to be cute and calling those two timeouts :eek:lol: That was stupid

Worley did not turn the ball over. We won. He is not the best QB CBJ will have. Be thankful he was good enough for this win and be thankful he will not be the best QB we will have in the future.

Our man Worley is not the best... but he is a tough competitor and got us the win today.

In the last two games, he has thrown for more yards than Aaron Murray and Connor Shaw, head-to-head.
