Very fair post.

Unfortunantly even with my Optimism I not ready to say we win.

Ready for my final prediction::

We kick a FG to pull within 4 at 31-27 early in the 4th qt. Neyland stadium is as alive as its been in many years but Georgia scores a late TD to close it out 38-27.

We play our best game of the year!!

If this happens and our kids catch criticism I might be ready to go crazy.

Georgia is just too good for us to pull this out but we will belong and that will be encouraging IMO.

Hope we get one more big TO at the end and it goes the other way!!!

GBO!!

I think it's highly possible we play them close, that I will say. UGA has been close in all of it's games. I simply don't think we have the ponies to close out on anyone. Specifically at QB. I'd actually be somewhat excited with a moral victory in this one. I'm actually thinking it could get very ugly after the 1/2. There is nothing I want more than for JW to get his **** together and have a 4 quarter complete game. We cannot have entire quarters with no scoring.

I've not been optimistic at any point about this team. Once CBJ started saying our margin of error was thin in the spring, I decided to take him at his word and assume it was going to be a tough year. It's pretty much going as expected so far. The running game is actually better than I thought it would be. But Worley so far has been worse than I thought he'd be.

I think November is when I'm going to get worked up more about games. I still think we can make a bowl game, although it will be tough. Any win in October would be completely awesome but I don't expect it.

In agreement with you but I'm usually a big homer so I always start a little over zealous on "what we will pull off". The only thing we've pulled off so far is completely draining any optimism I might have against a team with a better than 500 record.

I wouldn't put money on any of these predictions but I did like it for you and I appreciate the optimism.

I tried optimism up until the UF game but I'm empty on the optimism until this team does something to gain it back. That said I'm going to the game. I'm planning to have an awesome time and will become a total and complete homer by the time I find my seat.
GBO.

Shower with this.....

See this guy for refreshments....

And wear these to the game.....

You will be all set. :good!:

Can't argue with your thought process in your predictions, as you have been pretty spot on lately. I just hope this one time you are wrong, to the tune of us scoring late to pull the upset.

Bruins close pick is as high as I would go. Here would be my base level prediction assuming the team doesn't come out jacked off the adrenalin from Smokey jerseys.

41-23 UGA - 3 picks by Worley; Ferg plays the last 6 minutes of the 4th.
Half time we are only down by 10pts@ 17-7

hey all we need is a P EMP and we should win by 28... see this video for proof, since we used it before apparently.

on Johnathan Johnson....

He's back playing. He's out of the green jersey. He has 4 catches for 70 yards and made the big play to start the second half against WKU where he had the 37 yard reception.

I think you will see him play some more this week. His challenge is just like Howard's challenge and that is be more consistent. The slot receiver is arguably the most important productive position in this offense. But to become that they need more consistency from that spot.

I'm not saying I disagree (although I always have hope!), but if we only have 7 at halftime and Worley doesn't finish the game, how in the world are we going to get to 23?

A pick 6, a scoop and score (blocked xp)...and maybe a nice kick return to set up a fg.

DeAnthony Arnett sure has been a bust. Now a junior, and still not doing anything. It looks like his one year in orange is going to end up his best, unless he does something.

DeAnthony Arnett Stats, News, Videos, Pictures, Bio - Michigan State Spartans - ESPN
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Arnett caught one pass for seven yards in the Spartans' season opener against Western Michigan before sitting out the past two games. He could redshirt should it be determined he suffered an injury.
....
"He's a good player, but he's got to do certain things a little bit better in certain places, and that's just the nature of it. If we can redshirt him, we probably will."

The lack of production from Arnett thus far has been a surprise. He caught 24 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman at Tennessee and received a waiver to play immediately upon transferring to Michigan State for his sophomore season. He ended up with three receptions for 69 yards in seven games.
....
Of the medical redshirt process, Dantonio said on his radio show Thursday that in general, "I really don't want to conjure up an injury."

Quarterback Tyler Bray might have rubbed some people the wrong way on his path to the NFL.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he’s had no problems with the former University of Tennessee star, however. In fact, he raved about Bray in a conference call with reporters who cover the Titans.

“I know he’s handled himself the right way since he’s been here and that I appreciate. Whatever he did before, our scouting department looked at that and evaluated,’’ Reid said. “The kid, while he’s been here, has been tremendous. There have been no problems.”
....
“He’s so young in age, but he’s come in. He didn’t get picked probably where he wanted to get picked, and he’s worked through all of that. He’s been asked a lot of questions—that comes with the territory there. And he’s handled that the right way,’’ Reid said. “He’s handled it like a man—like a mature man—not like a young boy. I mean, he’s really handled himself the right way.

“I mean, you guys know this from him being from Tennessee that he can throw the ball well. He knows how to do it and does it very well. He’s been blessed with unique tools. It’s just important that he continues to grow up.”
