Man...life is precious ya'll. This Mike Leach news is horrible. You really never know when your time is gonna be up. I had a friend that I grew up with that lived right down the road from me as a kid....went to middle school and high school with him....he passed away the other night in his sleep...only 38...he just retired from the Air Force....left behind 2 little boys. Stuff is heartbreaking.

I just hope they have a great portal strategy at this point. So many positions we could improve, mostly DBs. We need to start hauling some of these guys in.

I just hope they have a great portal strategy at this point. So many positions we could improve, mostly DBs. We need to start hauling some of these guys in.

I still think they are waiting until after at least early signing day. We have a lot of DB commits and don’t want to lose one now. There are a lot of DBs in the portal also. More will probably go in after bowl games. Just a very tricky situation to be in. I wish they could not enter the portal until January. That way they could be available for the bowl games for their team. And coaches could get ESD at least behind them.

It’s not a done deal. But it’s a lot closer than anybody would have expected. Didn’t even hear about this kid until a few days ago. If it doesn’t happen nobody would even know there was a chance
