Saban probably would prefer 8 minute drives that just ground and pound. Keeps the other offense off the field.

I think he would prefer to play perfect defense. Offense is a means to an end.

Bama has always been able to get the elite personnel and perfect their system. He didn’t exactly elevate his offense at the expense of defensive recruiting or strategy. So we win 34-31 next year.

I’ve never really understood the desire for high school athletes to commit to Alabama. I get that they have a chance at a national title and get prepared for the NFL but Tuscaloosa is an awful city to spend 4 years of your life. Athens, Knoxville, Austin, Los Angeles, Happy Valley are all nicer. Even Ann Arbor and Columbus are better cities. Is playing for Saban really that much of a draw?

Admiral and Grant were awesome and took over games, but I don't think Bone gets the credit he deserves for that season. He pushed the ball up the court so quick that it opened up a lot of those plays for the bigs. Guy was always 100mph.

If you can find it, eagle rare imo. Weller reserve isn't bad if you like a wheated bourbon. There are really a bunch of them. Old Forrester bottled in bond, and the prohibition if you like a higher proof.

Keith Whitley was my dads favorite singer and naturally probably mine too. My dad passed at the young age of 46 back in 2015. I’m thinking of him this evening and stumbled upon one of the most beautiful songs I think I’ve ever listened to. The combination of the group, the voices and the lyrics. Really don’t get any better than that. They don’t do it like that anymore.

Yup. Having an offense of 90% 5 stars..it's still a mystery to how they succeed...
