Probably it does, but I guess I just don't think about that side of it. When the first pitch is thrown, it's a ball game, and I don't really see how any of the business aspects change the essence of that. Players still compete to win just like they always have.

See..that is where you and I are different. I don't believe that, I think a few guys would play for nothing, just for the love of the competition. I think the mercs hold back a lot, or just don't care very much a lot of times for various selfish reasons, or they just play selfishly to pump up their stats.

I wish I was a kid again, and blithely ignorant of these issues, but I'm not, and it just pretty much ruins team pro sports for me.
 
I always found it weird when people argue about what someone else's taste buds experience when they east certain foods.
