That's actually how I like to do my trash talk. After a big Grant Williams dunk or something just act like you're talking to you're buddy or whoever you went with and say stuff like, "Man! We're just playing so good right now! Really fun to watch!" Definitely works great in enemy territory! Lol"Literally" is literally one of the most overused words of the current day and age.
It would be really hilarious to troll someone by just randomly shouting out really positive, innocuous things like that every few minutes of a two hour basketball game.
Penny, while he won't (and probably can't) name names, has "heard" rumblings of other coaches that don't like how he had gotten the job. I don't doubt that, but it's being a little thin-skinned. He needs to respond with his team's play.
He has gotten praised for being brutally honest, which can be a good thing. Just like everything though, there needs to be some moderation, and he doesn't have a filter. Case in point, "get the F out, Rick Barnes."
What most people outside Knoxville don't realize is that Barnes is a jokester off the court. He was joking with Kesling about the balled up fists on VolCalls that week, and it got back to Penny. Penny responded in a non-joking manner.
Virtually nobody liked that guy outside of a 3 week lighting in a bottle time frame
I am aware of all sides of what was said from each side, heard all that was said from the horses mouths. Penny went off on Barnes about a flopping comment that was never made by Rick, not publicly.
But even if Penny thinks these things are true in no way does that justify ESPN putting him on air so much, that's my point. I'm sure Barnes likely declined to comment/go on air as he had moved on...if he was asked. Just doesn't make sense to me why this specific "bad blood" caught so much attention.
And it's nothing to do with Barnes, seems Penny must know somebody high up...his recent comments about the rumblings also got far too much media attention.
Ewing, Mullen, Avery all former NBA guys now coaching and they're not getting the same attention. And are more successful thus far in their careers.
Been shaving my head for over 15 years now. I go with the Schick Hydro 5 razor and Cremo (Sandalwood) shaving cream. Doesn't get much smoother than that.So a shift to something more important.
Bald men, how do you get your heads slick? I've tried a few different razors & cream/gel etc. Still seem to miss spots or not get super close.
A straight razor in the barber chair is best, but I ain't exactly wanting to spend that coin every 2-3 days to maintain. Is Nair worth a look?
He mentioned that he told his team in the gameplan that they flopped some to get guys on foul trouble and Bone allowed it to happen in the first few minutesPretty sure Rick mentioned the flopping on his post game radio show. It was played on radio here in Memphis.
After the Samford game, Barnes was asked to respond to Penny's latest comments, and he dismissed it and talked about how well Samford played.
To be honest, Ewing and Mullen haven't really done anything, and Avery is not on Penny's level as a pro athlete. I agree that it seems odd how much air time he is getting from the comments. If he starts to lose a game or two that he shouldn't, the comments could come back to bite him.

There was nothing remotely inappropriate about what he said imo
I just heard that Mike Stoops was joining Saban's staff. I'm not sure if it's true, but if it is all I can say is.
