Arkansas 98 was my first ever game at Neyland. Miserable weather.

Got in a drunk fight the night before and my head and knuckles ached through the whole game. Good times.

Yeah, I had a little too much 151 before to chase away the cold. Took until 4th for me to realize where I was.

Here’s today’s random question. What percentage of people on Volnation actually know each other or have at least met? Would you say less than 5%? Just curious... I find it amazing how you begin thinking you know someone because you’ve posted in a forum with them for years yet have never met in person. Until recently, how many of us knew (didn’t care either way) that @HankHill was black? Lol. Or which posters are women or even the ages. I've met a few posters. I've met @StoVol, @VolinArizona, @OGbabyaviVol, and I knew @RichRollin (rip, my friend). All were good guys accept for @OGbabyaviVol, not because he wasn't cool, he just wasn't very smart. Think "life's like a box of chocolates".

Every time I see the French Broad, I am reminded of a joke our guide told us while touring the New Belgium brewery in Asheville. They built the facility on an old landfill/waste area next to the river. He said the river was originally named the Marie Antoinette River but the locals couldn’t say her name. So they called her that French Broad.

Also a good point. I was more upset by mental mistakes than anything from them last year, but mental mistakes often do go hand in hand with guys getting whipped physically and/or getting tired.

And when you're getting whipped and you're weak and tired, you tend to revert to what you're used to instead of what you are learning....especially when there are 5 that are learning. It is why true freshmen rarely start.

Met Panthro on a flight to Dallas last year for instance. Just started chatting cause I was in UT gear and I asked if he was on VN lol
