Full disclosure, I live in the birthplace of Zaxbys, Statesboro, Georgia. That said, other than their red beans and rice, Popeyes is overrated Kroger’s deli chicken. Better than Walmart deli, not as good as any other on that list. I think my best argument is that I can only think of one military instillation with a Popeyes on it or near it: Fort Stewart. Truth hurts.

First one I ever ate at was at Ramstein in Germany. Red beans and rice for the win. Loved it for several years when I moved to DFW, but feel it’s garbage now. Best options locally that I’ve tried, Babe’s and Rice Chicken. Went back home to Chattanooga two years ago and had Champy’s for the first time...game changer!

Yep, but if you believe Hyams and Price, we lost out on him 2 weeks ago, not just because tOSU came knocking last week. Also glad to hear Princeton dude is out. He should not be able to jump from FCS / Ivy League to P5, without a G5 stop along the way. Wonder if Applewhite is in the mix?
