I don’t even think he’s wrong per say he just said basically nothing to me.I agree. I'm sure they did know who they were after then. Doesn't mean they got them.
I just don't understand the need to claim he was wrong by so many? How was he wrong by saying they knew who they wanted?
I’d be interested to know if you think this is all over with and Pruitt has his guy or if you think it’s the exact opposite like I do.
My feeling is the same - that Pruitt isn’t worried and that we’re essentially still waiting to interview new candidates. My feeling is that he doesn't have his OC yet and the one or one's he is interested in don't want to talk to CP until the season is over. At one time I thought maybe CP had his OC but waiting for the bowl season to be over to announce him but can't remember a time where that's been the case. They may wait until the season is over to start like CP did we it was already announced. My thinking is that he is in no hurry and ESD was his priority. Plus, the OC's he is interested in wanted to concentrate on finishing the season where they are. And it could be that CP has contacted the OC and they both have agreed to sit down afterwards and talk more. Just my thoughts. We will find out soon I am sure.
Definitely makes it seem he was not speaking of Yurcich. So DM was referencing Enos, perhaps...but I doubt it ever got close to being 95%...everyone knew he was going to inherit the Bama OC job. So who else could they be 95% on a/o December 5??? That seems to be a short list...likely someone who CJP worked with in the past or someone his inner circle could vouch for....Sark or Long are about the only ones that fit the bill. Here Hank, with article included. Since the first 2 times didn't seem to help.
He wasn't addressing who the OC was going to be though.I don’t even think he’s wrong per say he just said basically nothing to me.
But yes that could be the case and if it was you could apply fhat to freeze who i believe and many others do was the main choice and it didn’t work out.

I will say I’m slightly worried that what we’re selling on our end isn’t being bought by the candidates we’ve interviewed so far. I.e., personality fit, freedom of scheme, etc. I’m also worried we’re playing this so cool that some good candidates are coming off the board in the meantime.
Who knows? I don’t need a name candidate to be happy. Just want someone Pruitt and Friend can work with. I do believe it’s about Jimmy’s and Joe’s first.
