If his ultimate goal is to be a HC in the Midwest, I would think being the "glorified" Ohio State OC would go farther to attain it than the OC at Tennessee for the next two years. Because the Ohio State offense is going to put up a lot of points regardless - I'm not sure that's the case here in the immediate future.

I still think that they’ve had their person, and that Pruitt told him to enjoy the holidays/bowl game and be ready to hit the ground running on the 2nd.

Fulmer and Saban allowed Pruitt to finish out his gig at Bama. I can see Pruitt allowing an OC to do the same.

That being said, our history with Oklahoma State and Gundy is like putting your hand in an alligator’s mouth and expecting it not to bite you.
