If the comments made by several are any indication, Pruitt is trying to hire the guy that isn't going to a) cause personality issues within the staff, or b) bolt in a year. Given Briles rapid rise, how long do you think he hangs around? And given his responses to questions about BU scandal, I'd lay pretty good odds the guy is arrogant and may not play well with others. That isn't a formula for winning.

But please carry on with your thing.

not to mention the baggage that come with. not saying that should be THE reason you don't hire him, but if you do, you hire the baggage too. and judging from the reaction we got from just considering freeze or briles, i'd say it was probably at least on the list of considerations made.

I didn't want to get branded a hypocrite, so I left that part of the argument out. ;)

I think we're hiring Rush Probst. Doug Matthews saying a championship could be the deciding factor for holding up announcing and Pruitt has 'his guy' and has for awhile.

Rush's Colquitt County plays tonight @ 8PM for the state title. I'm sure it has been under wraps out of respect to them.

It's Rush.
