Schiano did decent by Rutgers standards. Nothing to go crazy about. He was in the Big East while at Rutgers, not Big 10, that makes a difference.

Taggart had similar results to Pruitt with much better talent.

Taggart’s teams have been top 20 in seconds per play for the past 3 years, but you wouldn’t want Briles or Yurcich as OC because you have to play slow like Georgia?

Taggert needs to decide who is running his offense going forward I agree. If he was our coach I'd hope he'd hire a guy that fits the sec and give him the reigns

Little tid bits as it has been requested that I keep fine details to the vest on this but i wanted to validate some info.
And yes when after this is over I have no issue discussing the traveler has come comment and how it played into this search. Lots and i mean a lot of mis information out there as it relates to freeze in this process.
There was an Interview yesterday that was OFF campus...and another candidate got a 2nd interview in their home state as well this week.
If we can come to terms on a deal quickly with the preferred option then it should wrap up in a timely fashion...everyone knows how important this is on the recruiting front.

“Second” interview.

It certainly sounds like Freeze was the guy until some new intel came to light or wiser heads prevailed. Who knows. Interested to know the rest of the story. Thanks @Atlanta VOL
