I want to say goodbye to my best friend. My Father died last night. No tears but would appreciate prayers. His name was Michael. He’s a Marine and was a good man, Excellent Grandfather and most importantly my Dad. He has been through hell since June including losing both legs and having 4 other surgeries. He kept fighting. Thanks to all of you for being the parts of my day to put the serious stuff aside. It helps more than you know.

God Bless you and your family. Sounds like he was an awesome dad. I hope you and your kids have wonderful memories.

I think we should be expecting much of the same next year. Struggling to get bowl eligible as Pruitt and co. play all sophomores and freshmen. Only difference is I think we end in November much stronger due to 25 players of Pruitt’s picking being injected into the program. 2020 should be fun from a competitive stand point, but not what we all hope and want it to be - 9 win ceiling. 2021 will be interesting if we are working in a new QB, but we should compete for the East and SEC from here on out.

Seems reasonable. The only question is, is the fan base going to give him the time he needs without turning on him? I have my doubts tbh.

Then you’d be confessing that you’re not a fan of this team and Ron gets more likes than any of us because he never wavers and isn’t fake. Sometimes overly confident in some’s opinion but that 15-0 is more of your goofy schtick...like when you occasionally type “lol” when our players get hurt.

There's a new low. If you can find the post of me laughing at our player getting injured I'd appreciate that. Until then you're full of **** and lying. I do love living rent free in your head my friend.

I definitely don’t think the football forum crazies will give him his due, but a top 10 recruiting class this year is coming, and I think This staff pulls a top 5 next year. Should keep the bulk of the RF on board.

I'll be anxious to see how this class closes. Someone posted something a while back a thread from a Georgia board and it was just dozens of posters saying the same thing, that Pruitt can get them to campus but cant close. Maybe that was just salty/nervous Georgia fans, idk but that is essentially exactly what happened last cycle. Of course, he only had 2 months or so to fill the class so...who knows. I just really, really hope we don't end up being the bridesmaid for a bunch of the guys (Pappoe, Gray, Wright, etc.)/

I picked Tennessee to win, but I REALLY feared the team being unmotivated and Vandy being very motivated.

Played out to a T
I am just flabbergasted that Tennessee seems to be the only team in the entire country that comes out flat on the last weekend of the season during rivalry week. This game is Vanderbilt's Super Bowl and UT just looks like they want to go home. Its becoming a pattern at this point.

If that happens then we’re either looking st a Majors type rebuild or a new coach in 4 years. But as long as there is no mass exodus of assistants at any point then i’ll have belief Pruitt can coach and will keep looking positively into the future.

We’ve got a bunch of guys on the team who are already looking forward to life after football. These kids have lost the love for the game be it for any reason you want to give. Not going to win much with a roster like that

Cool heads prevail. Not a successful season in my mind, but in the grand scheme of things, this season matters little. Trim some of the fat off this recruiting class, get Pappoe, Wright, Gray, and hopefully a couple more top recruits, and we're in a positive trajectory. I'm also thinking we need to be looking at a graduate transfer QB potentially. Just not sold on Guarantano.

Wow. I knew people would be mad but to alrresdy want to give up on Pruitt and his defensive coaches? Sad. Some of y’all are as weak minded and thin skinned as the butch players. Helton needs to go but I’ve been really impressed with everything else. We went from not winning an SEC game to beating two ranked SEC opponents.

Pruitt did all of this having never been a HC before. At any level. That’s pretty damn impressive. This is going to take time. We’re not the Tennessee of old anymore. I’ve been saying it all year: This is a total rebuild. Bowl game was within reach and we didn’t get it which sucks @$$ but many people predicted 5-7ish season and here we are.

This program is infected with weak minded players. Tonight I saw a lot of guys that just seemed like they didn’t want to be playing football. Made me sick and I know it made all you guys sick too. Coaches hated it more than any of us.

Honestly I don’t think things will be much better next year from a win loss standpoint. We’re all calling for a mass exodus but guess what that means? Tons of young, inexperienced players.

I constantly point to our b-ball program because I think it’s so damn similar. Both programs were destroyed by horrible hire after horrible hire. Then we lucked into an outstanding coach. First two years of rick were rough. First year didn’t show a lot of promise outside of s couple upsets. Second year saw a bunch of young players have a slim chance at the tourney but they blew itpretty quickly because they didn’t know how to handle it. Year 3 we won a championship. I think year 4 of Pruitt will see a SEC championship. We just need to be patient, get a new O.C. and stay the course

I hope Pruitt remembers that in a couple of years if and when the tables are turned.
Mason is an idiot for doing that. We are still going to bring in way better talent than them every year...even being down as we are, and now we have a staff that can actually identify, coach and develop that talent. He has gotta know that he has been able to take advantage of the pure incompetence, and gross stupidity of the previous ADs and HCs to have this string agsinst us...hope he enjoys this one..and I thank him for showing his ass...just adds more fuel to the inferno that is going to be unleashed on him and his puke program down the road...never forget that one JP...never.

It’s phenomenal

I suspect it’s veru much like the KY loss under Dooley where some players were ready to lay down to avoid a bowl game.

The coaches see the tape, and after a year on the job, they know who is in and who is out. I wish everyone the best, but if you are not part of the solution, pack your crap and get out. SEC football is not for everyone. It’s an insane physical and mental toll. If that’s just not your bag, do something else
