Easily one of my favorite plays of the game was about 4 minutes into the 3rd Q, JG hands off to Chandler and runs stride for stride with him looking for someone to blow up with a block. He didn't get one but you can tell he wanted it so damn bad.

History will show that Auburn and Kentucky were overrated this season, but these games remain huge in laying the foundation of this rebuild.

I’m really encouraged by what I’ve seen from the development of this team. Can’t wait to see what we bring against Mizzou. That’s another interesting benchmark
Yeah, our matchup with Mizzou is tough. If our OL can continue to progress like yesterday, then I think we can score some points. The bigger matchup will be our defense vs their offense. They ran the football a lot against Vandy. I think we have to have the same game plan as yesterday, and try to stop the run first.

Great afternoon to be inside Neyland. Thought we really played well on both sides of the ball for the most part. Nice to finally get off to a good start at a home game.

Also got to take my oldest son to his first game today and that was awesome. Go Vols!
Can you kindly regale us with some good stories of all those salty big blue tears flowing throughout the game?

They were terrible the entire game; they didn't know who anyone was. And the field reporter, she was garbage, too. Terrible broadcast.
Kris Budden is easy on the eyes, though and she worked in this market for a good while. I'll give her a pass.

Did you all hear Kesslings call of the Hail Mary at half?

It’s caugh. Juan Jennings with the Touchdown

SMH
I think hes probably a fine human being, but it's time(probably past time) for the university to construct him a nice retirement package and allow him to ride off into the sunset.

I didn't hear that but I know the SEC network guys were flubbing things up left and right. Kept saying #9 was Dominic Wood Anderson on his long catch and run, even on replays. Went so far as to talk about where he went to JUCO and all. One drive late in the fourth when Kentucky was trying to score, they called Kentucky Tennessee twice... "Tennessee trying to go tempo here. " "Tennessee desperately needs to score" etc. There were other dumb mistakes too.

I'm never one to typically bang on announcers because honestly most of the time they're transparent to me, but those guys yesterday were idiots.

The camera guy was trying so hard by zooming in on Jordan's name and the announcers were just like "nope, fake news" 😂
