Not sure what the issue is with the Oline but I’m willing to bet it’s not coaching. I think as the season goes on the coaches will figure out where each guy fits best and keep them there. And on the Fulmer helping out part, y’all honestly believe CJP and Fulmer haven’t talked about this?
Fulmer is my horse even if he don't win a race (which he has and will). I just wish he was a little younger so he could be the AD for at least 10-15 years. He has assistant athletic directors.
I had a career in industry as a projects control manager for large capital projects. In a $400 million project my cost tracking portfolio might have 2,000 or more line items but more than 80% of the money was being spent on just 10 of those items. I didn’t care if a $25,000 item went over by 100% or even 200%. I cared a great deal if one of those 10 items was going to go over by even 1%.
Football generates 80% or more of the athletic department’s entire revenue. I don’t at all think it’s unreasonable for the director to pay outsize attention to it, even if it’s only for 2 or 3 hours per day. It probably makes a bit of difference that football is his expertise but then again I’m happy he’s not neglecting our rowers.

Pruitt is hell bent on creating depth for sure. It’s unreal the amount of players that have participated this far. I believe it’s a brilliant strategy to create depth, but we’ll see if it works
That’s what I thought too, and they improved drastically over the gameHonestly I don't think that many OL played against WV. It seemed to be a steady group other than Hall playing one series at G and when Smith got Hurt. Maybe late in the game was different but it seemed consistent most of the first 3 QTs
The pass blocking has been adequate. It's the run blocking that is a mess. There's no push. I think it all comes down to strength. One offseason of serious strength training is not going to make up for years wasted with the previous coaching staff. We should see the OL getting closer to SEC strength levels next season.
Wayne Basler is a good man.He has assistant athletic directors.

Also worth noting that Jordan does not run with best vision. A few of the goal line plays when he got stopped was bc he didn’t follow the blocks. Banks demonstrated better vision and had more breakaway runs. I’m curious to see how Chandler runs. The pass blocking has been adequate. It's the run blocking that is a mess. There's no push.
