Yass. ;)

In all seriousness, I do tend to oversimplify topics like this when outside of academia. There's no need for a long version on here since it's an off-topic tangent that only a few people are interested in. If you're really interested in how race as a concept was constructed I can probably come up with a reading list for you.

It's the American way. I'm glad you're a true American. :D

Here's a link to a series of paintings from the Spanish Empire trying to identify and classify race in New Spain.

I understand the hand wringing over DL, but I gotta remind everyone that one of those guys will be subbed out for a 5th DB most of the year (>70%) especially this week.

Are we running a 2-4-5? I thought the 5th DB replaced a LB, but I could be wrong.

All this talk about the depth on the DL but we have to Remember there are 10 guys listed now and not 8. That makes a difference

wtf? I don't even know what you're offended about. Both my OP and my response to you were meant to be light-hearted.
Mine too..hence the antiquated "claptrap" 😁

I really do think your blaming Brits for everything to do with race divisions is nuts though. I think all of imperial Europe shares equally..

First off, there’s no such thing as a “true pro style offense” anymore. Those things are what gets Jeff fisher and mike mularkey fired because they are have Jurassic concepts to them and no creativity. Just Bc you are under center or have a fullback doesn’t mean that you aren’t creative and doing things that are widely used in college.

The eagles were getting criticized for running a college offense but they were one of the most dynamic and effective in the nfl.

We’re running a far more qb friendly offense now than we ever did under butch. 80% of our throws are going to be 10 yards or less, as are almost every great offense in today’s football.

Do you even watch the Falcons especially two years ago? Teams still need quarterbacks with arms who can throw that 10 yard out across the field and Hurts doesnt do that. He can’t pass downfield period including outs. But you keep doing you. Brady just throws under ten yards. Eagles never pass it long either. You may not take shots downfield every possession but you have to be able to be a threat to do it or what you described won’t ever work.

Hey guys, been off for a while recovering from Butch but trying to get caught up before the season starts. What's up with Byrd? I don't see him on the depth chart and I can't find any news about injury.

also, we have some seriously good athletes on our roster. Other than our secondary we have enough talent to make a bowl game if the coaching staff is close to their hype. Still skeptical of the OC hire, and I never like first time coaches in the SEC. But the talent is there and that can make up for growing pains of all these first time coaches trying to learn on the job in the SEC.

TB is a WR backup. 5th or 6th in rotation, probably.
