Urban’s Ego would make a great parody Twitter. It would only make grandiose statements and retweet negative tweets about Saban and Harbaugh.
Hopefully none of our fine posters would create an urban's ego Twitter. That would just be so terrible if that happened.

Why does everyone think that reporting it is good enough for this? If you know domestic abuse is going on, and you know your boss isn't going to do anything, and you just shrug your shoulders and go on, why is that OK?

That's the state of where we are. No one wants to attract that attention, even if the right thing (immediate firing of ZS) is done. It's always easiest to pass the buck rather than get out and BE the right thing.

I think our only hope is that other coaches negative-recruit the dog sh!t out of Urban, questioning the man's integrity (pointing out the lack thereof) whenever the opportunity is available. Then again, it wouldn't matter if he wins another natty, because winning is the trump card.

I agree that the florida game will tell us more but I think on offense if we struggle that is going to tell us a lot about what kind of year we are going to have on that side of the ball.

I know I’m way behind, but you can’t judge an offense on game one. Defense is always ahead early in the season. Of course, WVU is expected to have a weak defense, so if the offense struggles against them and if WVUs defense proves to be weak through the season, then you may have a point...but we won’t know until we’re well into the season. Maybe just take a break for a while and check back in a few weeks.

Honestly think it takes a really funny person to pull something like that off. Knowing the humor that's tossed around on this board, I'm taking your comment literally. No offense, y'all.

Looks like I gave OSU more credit than they deserved. I thought they'd suspend Urbie for four games and welcome him back for the Penn St game, since that could have playoff implications. But I guess they thought he could use a warmup game, so they only suspended him for three.

"Time served, despite having two other legitimate HC candidates on staff"

--Urban, definitely.

What a shitbeard.

I think that if McMurphy had some sort of vendetta, it was against Zach Smith, who's only now (finally) fired. Smart men like Brett tend to know their limitations, and if a result was achieved, however unfulfilling as it is to us and other fanbases around the country, a result was achieved. Unless there are crazier things about Urban, in which McMurphy is going full scorched earth in Columbus. I don't think it's likely, though.
I agree. At least Smith is out of there.

Cover up a serial domestic abuser, keep him employed, and then lie about your knowledge of it to the media... 3 games

Selling your Jordan’s someone gave you.. 4 games
BBQ gets you fired..
Makes sense

At UT lying about a BBQ gets you fired with a show cause...

OSU is now the slimiest, most pathetic institution in sports..

I hope UT would burn our head coach, no matter how successful, to the ground if faced with this situation...it is disgusting...

This is how situations like the Penn State cesspool happen..

So maybe it was mentioned....

But VQ podcast was talking gameday coach structure. They understand that Helton and Sherrer will be down on the field with Pruitt. And Rumph, Kelly, and two of the offensive coaches would be in the box. I thought they said Will Friend but that doesn’t sound right, you want your OL coach to be down in the trenches with the men.

Of course I could have totally botched what I interpreted and gotten that all wrong. So does anyone else remember that?

Helton in box and Friend on field. (If memory serves) Think Defensive coaches as you note are correct.

Prob same place he heard Trey Smith would never play again.

@Ulysees E. McGill it looks like we almost lost another Coots up your way recently. I visited there back in 2000. Did not partake
I'm sorry..I have no idea what you are talking about? Did you come here with a mission team in 2000?

I think Harlan County gets as many summer missionaries as some third world countries...Then again in some areas it kinda is a third world country.

Yes, we came up for a few days.

I’m referring to our brothers who take up the serpents. The Coots family has been the primary group for years and the most recent Pastor Coots just got bitten on the neck and nearly bled out.
