One time I was dealing with a dealer and he was about to give me the price and interest I wanted. Then his manager came over and "took over" the deal. Needless to say I did not buy a car from that lot.
Well this guy tried the dollar bill on the fishing line trick on me, but I'd seen the movie so it didn't work.Used-Cars-trailer.jpg

My neighbor growing up had one of those movie disc players that predated the Beta and VHS. The disc was the size of a vinyl record, and one of the movies they had was Used Cars. We watched it over and over, lots of nudity. I was like 13 at the time.

Pre-beta max may be Videodisc, not Laserdisc. Videodisc was more or less a LP in a plastic shell. It died out really quickly after tape Beta/VHS, although my elementary school library had one in the 70s. Laserdisc is basically a record size DVD and it survived as a high end format in the tape era until DVD took over. I still have a few dozen Laserdiscs and a player, although we have not used it in forever so it may be hashed.

Face. Palm.

What a waste of time. That attorney should be disbarred.
