I’ve been watching his games at Stanford in my down time lately, and I’ve come away super impressed with a lot of the things Stanford does schematically to set up QBs for high percentage throws. They do a good job of not asking too much of their QBs much of the time.


I also love their short yardage packages. When they need half a yard they’ll put 6-7 OL on the field (sometimes even sub in a backup who’s a bit better in this kind of situation than the more well rounded starter), put them in 4 point stances low to the ground as hell, and just maul guys. I would love to see us use this kind of strategy on 4th and inches.

Nah if you watch his games at Stanford he was never consistent with intermediate and deep throws. He’s got a hella strong arm, but hasn’t been consistently accurate outside of the quick passing game or underneath stuff with TEs amor RBs that Stanford loves to set up.

Googled articles discussing the hypothermia possibility and you know as much as anyone.
The reason being, the cave system is less consistent then the average caves we think of. Extreme elevation changes from major drop offs, to areas much closer to the surface, even though there may not be an entrance there.

Seems to all come down to where they are located in the caves and how wet they became.

I just read that hypothermia is not believed to be a potential issue.

I’ve been to this cave with my kids before. We did not get very adventurous though. It was a mud slide to get down into the entrance, as we now know... water easily flows in.

At least three rescue works seem to have been electrocuted now.

They may have found a previously unknown entrance in the mountain. At least 60 feet deep. They’ve dropped some people inside to have a look

Off topic but saw David Johnson the Arizona Cardinals RB, filming a Nike commercial at the sports medicine building complex at the Star. Amazing how much goes into producing 30 seconds.

I saw last night where some American pararescue guys had flown in from Okinawa to assist.

AA is aggressive too... hopefully we go after a big bat to protect freeman long term, (markakis is having a great yea, but how long can he keep that up), and some help for the back end of the bullpen.
