False, Russells team mostly handled wilt and Russell did as well defending him as anyone. But to say he handled him is a wrong statement. Check the stats. Wilt was a beast. Nobody handled him.:stop:
yes, i also will say it's important to note that we finally have coach chemistry. haven't had all of our coaches on the same page since the early to mid 2000's. Will do wonders for our team chemistry. That and a bad mofo S&C program that holds the kids accountable. Bet we have a different locker room mentality this year.
Good question. I saw where 12% of the teams had the same record. So you would think normal would be half of the remaining teams going up and half going down (88%/2). So I would think you would compare 44% to the 56%.
This. But, we aren't really comparing to 56% in reality, since there's likely some linear (not really) regression occurring. Ie teams with 56 lost starts are worse off than those with 36 lost starts. So we should have an even better chance of improving. Of course, not sure why we are talking about this, since the entire thought of ever going 4-8 again makes me want to vomit.
Sorry, but based on WHAT?? C'mon, Kiffin had his own daddy as DC. Butch had nearly an entire staff of guys he had been with for a long time. Pruitt meanwhile just assembled a staff of some guys he coached with a BIT (Friend? Sherrer?) and guys he barely knows (Fair, Helton, etc). Sorry, but unless you have some inside track, I will just chalk this up to more blind optimism. And how this guy is any better than Rock is beyond me. He will just have more time lapsed since Sherzer ****face and "player led workouts" ruined S&C.
