If they wanted to play in the title game, they would have easily negotiated an 8 game acc regular season schedule like the rest of the teams. And somehow they still would find someway to not be an official acc member. The bold part, I 100% agree with you, but those feelings have nothing to do with their acc affliction.

Idk why this is a discussion. We all know the acc and nd football are playing the system (money driven). They are in business with one another, but they arent financially tied to another (they don'thave to share their earnings so to speak). They each keep their own (home) team's revenue. If they ever get mad/upset with one another, they get their stuff (money) and leave. There's no conference buy-out crap other universities had/have to go through. Its smart business.

Definitely agree it's all about the money. And, ACC affliction made me chuckle.

I am not a huge soccer fan. I was flipping around about 9:00 last night to find something to watch and stopped at the replay of that game. I am glad that I did. I know enough about soccer to know that Germany is a traditional power. It was a great game to watch. I did not know the outcome before I watched the replay. My wife thought something bad happened when I yelled when the shot went in.

Haven’t weighed in, but as a member of that club I hate new members joining. I didn’t tell anybody on here until months afterward, but my wife was on that journey when I joined VN. You’re handling it better. Don’t take any “no’s” for an answer as far as making her comfortable and spending quality moments. I let my wife’s family drag her to targeted radiation for her brain tumors and the anti-seizure medicine took her STUBBORNNESS away...and precious months of the real her. Baldbiker helped me the most on this board...hope he pops up. Keep strong, friend.

I have never heard your full story, just bits and pieces. Just wanted to take the time to tell you how sorry I am that it happened and am glad that there was someone to help you get through that incredibly difficult time.

Man like 3 or 4 of yall moved the goalposts on 91. He said they played about 5 acc games a year and was asked to prove it. He did and yall act like you won something. You didn't. If the evidence you asked for is provided you can't just change the root of the question. That's a bruin move. Yall better than that. Haha. The acc begged them to join and Notre dame said how bout you just give us a bunch of benefits and we'll give you some games and our basketball team which has very little tradition. But they do have a football contract with the acc. Which was 91s point. You guys are just being semantical about it.

I remember your situation and hurt for you at the time. Fortunately for her/me it's not as serious as what she/you had to go through. None the less, I appreciate the encouragement. You are a good dude.

As to baldy, he's a good dude too. Hopefully his return is sooner rather than later. I miss making fun of him.

You picked a good one. Pretty funny that you randomly picked him as the best player in the world and that happened. He really is elite but not quite the best. That set piece design and execution on that goal was incredible. Not many people take a shot from that angle but the short pass and stop set have him just enough window to fit a perfectly placed shot in the corner. I saw it live in the airport as I was boarding a plane. It was awesome.

I thought the Funkatorium might change my position on sours but it didn't. We hit up 3 of the ones you went to, and I always enjoy local beer. But the best experience we had was the tour at New Belgium. Cool facility, and they are civic minded.
