I know that this is not a revelation, but ESPN summer programming is pure slaw. World Series of Poker, WNBA, NBA Summer League, LaCrosse all star games. Sweet mother of mercy.

I guess that’s the new thing the kids are saying these days, but while getting off my lawn, STOP DERIDING SLAW! That and East Tennessee BBQ are the stuff of legend. My sainted mother taught me that nothing makes you forget your sorrows faster than a chili dog with coke slaw on it.

Also, ESPN sucks when there isn’t football on. Or AWA.

I will take the WSOP over NBA and baseball any day.

I love slaw too. Not sure why I used the term. I'm pretty old.

I do play no limit a couple times a week, but I also like to learn strategy, see how the best play certain hands. I’ve learned a lot from watching poker.

I’m just trying to cover up my love of Texas hold’em. I used to try and bluff my way before and totally went broke early because of it. Learning to fold quickly was the best thing I ever learned from the pros. And tells.

Yep. I played poorly years ago but got back into recently, mostly for fun free roll or small buy in tournaments. I’ve love the game, the math the strategy....mostly being patient, position matters. I’ve learned a lot from watching and playing hands.
