I’ll get roasted for this but Muchamp has done a good job of building that team.

I could really see them winning the East this year if Georgia has a slight downswing.

I don’t know about winning the east but he has done a much better job with them than I thought he would.

Edit* like a couple others said, that OC hire gonna make/break him this year

I’m not sure I see WVU being a great matchup for us overall. I think we may have a chance in that one, but it will come down to how well we get the offense moving. If we can get the run going, play ball control, and keep Grier off the field, I think we’ll have a chance.

IMO our best matchup against WVU is probably our WRs against their DBs, though. I think we could hit some big plays against them, but I’m not sure I like our chances if it becomes a shootout. Hopefully the OL is at full strength and meshes well early. It may be asking a bit too much of them to be dominant game one though.

I complete disagree about it being a bad matchup. WVU runs a ton of mesh concepts so hopefully we will be able to bump them off their spots and delay them getting off the line. All those quick throws will neutralize our pass rush so it will be up to our DBs to lock up and hold their WRs for a little bit.

I guess I wasn’t clear. I think Pruitt ball is not a good matchup for WVU’s style of play, not a bad match up for us. I’m guessing it all depends on how much system//style/attitude he is able to install, and if our guys come out and play angry.

I really dont think we go 4-8 again. If we do I'd be surprised if we have any success recruiting for 2019

I originally thought the transition was going to be too much trouble, but the staff looks to have plugged some holes and I think 4-8 is too pessimistic now. I still think we could slip and go 5-7, but I’m more inclined to think that, talent-wise, they should probably win 6.

I’m there too. If we surprise, it will be on the upside.

I think we pull one upset (or near upset).

I could see it being much like 2013, though I think WVU won’t come close to doing what Oregon did to Tennessee that year.

I think we are more talented this year than that 2013 squad was. But the schedule this year is terrible and I think the East, on balance is better now than it was then. Of course, that 2013 schedule was no picnic either. In the end, new coach / scheme and a tough schedule make it hard to think we will be much better than 6-6.
