But if I was choosing, I would rather have an SEC champ banner over a sweet sixteen run I guess..I don't know though. Nobody much remembers who makes runs in the Dance unless it is to the final 4. An SEC championship would count for something more to me.

I wouldn't expect too much in the conference tournament unless Barnes has changed his stance on those. At Texas a lot of people said he just didn't care about those unless he needed to win it to get into the NCAA tournament. They don't have as much prestige as a regular season champ and it's just a good way to wear yer team out before the big tournament starts. So he tended to back off in those. I don't think he won a single conference tournament at Texas.

Haha I bet one of the other parents is also on VN and posted the link in another forum or something. Only explanation for VN losing a poll is that it lost to VN.

If we keep playing the way we did against MSU (well after we caught fire) it would be hard to stop us. I'm just glad Auburn plays first. We will know if we have a chance to win outright or tie ahead of time.
