I don't think anyone knows what he's done at Auburn. He's not cooperating with the internal investigation at Auburn. I doubt he's at Auburn next season. He'll parlay his success this year into a bigger gig. Imo

I hope for his sake that he does get a big time job after Auburn. What he's doing there right now is extremely impressive to me.

FBI is involved because of payments between parties and no taxes. Tex evasion issue, I think.

Maybe I’m off here but I don’t think the FBI cares if Kentucky paid John Wall $100,000, they care he didn’t pay taxes on it.

Cal is all speculation and heresay. Nothing tangible to punish him with.... yet.

I guess I shoulda known given the demographics of this site that quote was gonna go over people's heads.

Its lyrics to a pretty famous rap song. "Hate Me Now" by Nas. The poster asked why everyone hates me and I quoted lyrics in that song where Nas is talking about why people hate other people.

Just cause it flew over your head didn't make it nonsense. Given the context of the discussion, it made perfect sense.

Because of what's going on with the investigation it calls into question how legitimate his success is. Whether he's guilty of wrongdoing or not, it taints Auburn's achievements. That is coming from a huge Bruce Pearl fan. I know in my eyes, his persona has taken a hit.

FBI working hard for the NCAA. Low lying fruit I guess. Whatever. Hope it all gets cleaned up for all sports, but I doubt it will. The state of Alabama has been openly defying the rules for decades and nothing ever happens.
