baseball. I know how it feels to get hit by a large ball from someone who can kick the **** out of it. I've also been hit by a baseball but I'm not sure how fast it was...85ish? but I'd prefer neither.

Your post rating just plummeted.

If you look at the coaches poll top 8 which they had UCF in, UCF would've gotten beat by the other 7 and stomped by the top 5, 4 of which were the playoff teams..

Just my 2 cents....

Just like Auburn stomped them, amirite?

I think the problem is that you're inferring they're equal risk based upon velocity alone. Baseball players wear helmets for a reason. That reason is not that they are sissies.

Seriously.

How many times do soccer players have a ball kicked at them each game (not counting goalies)???

A hitter can easily face 20-25 pitches every game.

Currently at 18 commits/signees, but Litaker’s deal will be finalized within the next 3-5 days so we are really at 17. Simonton and Price say the magic number is 22, so 5 spots to play with assuming Grant sticks. Who’s your realistic 5?

I’ll go:

Griffin
Q. Walker
Eddie Smith
Mincey
And a DT. Probably Jordan Miller

I think Winkel blueshirts.

So baseball people. I am a free agent. I've been a lifelong Marlins fan and now I am done with the franchise. I need some fan recruiting pitches. I do live in Atlanta but they've been enemy number one most of my life. It'd be a hard switch. Go.

Red Sox or Cubs. Lots of history and the two most vintage stadiums remaining.

Easy. The Metropolitans. From yours truly

Syndergaard, Degrom. Young stud outfielder in Conforto. The Cuban missile

Never really been to NY though. I've been to Fenway. Fenway Frank is overrated. its a hotdog in a piece of white wonder bread and they act like it's genius.

The point is still valid. The pig is preferable.

You clamor to start new threads to make yourself feel like a VN contributor. You pile on the VN posters that are negative (praising to get acceptance from the good ole boys on the forum). Bruin wished you well after your Christmas mishap, but you will probably do your snarky comments every time he posts...

Root for the Cubs. Simple. Best fans anywhere including yours truly.

Jeter is obviously going with the Astros' method of complete tear down and rebuild.

The NLC is in a bit of a flux. Cubs and Cards are down a notch. Brewers on the rise. Pirates out. My Reds on a slow rise doing it all internally.

If you want a UT tie you can go with the Reds. Nick Senzel will be in the bigs no later than second half. He's zoomed through the minors and will begin as a utility guy that will most likely end up at SS, 2B or 3B. They are going to use him some in the OF as well. He was signed to be the everyday 3B, but Suarez greatly improved and they plan to extend. 2B will be open in a year or less and Peraza is on trial at SS.

Jeter said something like we want to cut expenses and still average good revenue. In other words, spend nothing and steal the money from idiot marlin fans. How about marlin fans are now disengaged and some are free agents themselves?

I want a team to cheer with for the rest of my life that doesn't habitually **** on its fan base

I think I would pull for the Giants then. I fell out with Braves after being a fan my whole life because I think they quit caring as much about winning as they do the bottom line.
