pissing match about how many deaths a sport caused? yikes.

We sign somebody? Haven’t leaked one drop and it’s not about deaths. It’s about how scary it is facing a pitcher vs a kicker. K...back to business.

13 Little League baseball players died from being struck between 1987-1996...little sissies.

I’ve lost my mind because I said I’d rather get hit by neither a 95mph fastball nor a 110+mph soccer ball?

Two major problems with this.

1. A soccer ball gives a lot more than a baseball. At that speed it still hurts like he** but it’s quite different.

2. If we’re talking about the pros, the speed numbers are very misleading. Sure, maybe one guy was clocked kicking a ball at 110+, but from what I’ve seen shot speeds are typically 60-75 mph, with the top speeds very rarely approaching 90s. This compared to MLB where everyone is coming at you 95+ every time.

Soccer ball causes not just blunt force trauma but also neck/spinal injuries. Soccer ball is heavier too. A helmet won't help you vs. A soccer ball.

You’re also wearing a helmet in baseball. And elbow guards. And leg guards.

I’m not choosing sides, I’m saying both would hurt like hell. No thanks on both.

They’re scared of Pruitt too. There was a thread on Clemson rivals after the playoff loss this year. It was all about how Pruitt’s defenses over the years have dominated Clemson except for their title win last year.

And we give him a pass for last year. DeShaun Watson is a freaking terrific QB.

Watching #3 Purdue right now. Their 7 footer, Haas, is killing Michigan right now. Still very impressed with the Vols win over this team.
