Depends on how well our WRs/QBs are developed
James Coley, who everybody agrees would be a good hire, Started as a QB coach, learned to coach TE at FSU (pretty big school), then learned to coach WR at Georgia in the SEC just 2 years ago.
Tony Alford went from RB to WR coach while at Notre Dame.
Johnny Nansen went from defense and special teams coach at Washington to RB coach at USC (the big one). :loco::detective:
Google the New York Giants likely new HC, Matt Patricia. Starting in 2004 with NE, he was offensive assistant then assistant OL coach before shifting to linebackers and safeties on the other side before becoming the DC...and hes an Aeronautical Engineer.![]()
Reggie White didn't play in the passing era of football like the pass rushers do today. How many more sacks would Reggie have gotten if the QBs dropped backed 30+ times like they do today?
That's not the question.
The question is, for one college game, using college Reggie White and college Derek Barnett, which guy would you pick?
There's no wrong answer.
Reggie White is the GOAT.
Barnett is on his way, but nowhere close.
