Bring back JJ! He is all VOL, plays his heart out, and has been the toughest player we've seen in years (not to mention the Hobbnail boot, toasting Tabor, etc). He deserves another chance. In Pruitt's opening press conference he said "it's about the players" so I have my fingers crossed. It would be a good show for him to bring back the fan favorite.

Full trust in Pruitt with the Help of CRG to make the best decision. We the fans nor JJ deserve anything. The program deserves the best decision either way

You are a good poster and this is why this gotcha crap has me posting less. I have a nugget in regards to our baseball coach but would just get a few snide remarks so not posting stuff until it changes.

Keep posting. The regulars around here know each other. I know it can be a tough crowd at times, but we know who is legit and who is not. I don't think the responses to my post intended to mean spirited. I am no insider here, but I just happen to know someone who has access to the Memphis program. He had just received a call about the interview and knows that I am a big UT fan. We were busy, so I didn't care to check if it had been reported or not.

After I reread my comments to your post. I can see how they could be perceived as mean spirited but I assure you I wasn't being that way. I apologize for the way it came across.

Price said in the 2 minute drill that Gillespie could move out & coach WR if they found the right RB coach.

Seems doubtful but he said it's at least in play.

An insider is just someone with direct knowledge of something. Some just have direct info more often than others. Everyone has the potential to be an insider about something at sometime. Like any form of information, direct knowledge has a shelf life...what was true 10 minutes ago may not be true now.

Trolls create conflict for sport, and pretending to have direct knowledge is a great way to manipulate people, so naturally it is a favorite tactic. The often short shelf life of information makes it even easier to use. So the flip side is that some 'insiders' aren't...and suck mightily for it.

While there are clearly some who use it to deceive, those on here who insist there is no such thing as inside information are willfully ignorant. Of course there is. If they are so concerned about trolls that they attack all inside information, perhaps they should consider the fact that doing so is just another form of trolling (they too are creating conflict)...they become what they claim to hate.

If you have heard something from what you believe to be from a direct source, share it and step back. People can choose to believe it or not. Simple.

The thought of David Johnson from Memphis is very interesting and kind of excites me. He doesn't have any power 5 experience but is the best recruiter at Memphis, who is recruiting at the highest level in school history.

He turned down LSU last year, and one thought was that he didn't like the strained relationships between LSU and local Louisiana high school coaches. Johnson coached high school there before working at Tulane.

He only made 225k this past year. The Memphis staff has been gutted, and UGA hired their LB coach after Sherrer left.

Raiding Bama?
